Hi all, Caspian is back.

Today I have done some spelling and also continued with some science on magnetic force. Today’s “Main Project” is the one in the title. I have read the story of Percy Fawcett and have written 20 things for an explorer to pack for an adventure:

1. Med kit
2. A good team of men
3. Water
4. Food (Marmalade, sandwiches, fruit)
5. Compass
6. Harpoon (for defence)
7. Map
8. Clothes
9. Ball of yarn (Used like in the story of the Minotaur)
10. Inhaler (In case one of your team is an asthmatic)
11. Flint and steel
12. Note pad and pen
13. Tents and camp beds
14. Penknife
15. Gold for trading
16. Washing materials
17. Book about nature
18. Parrot (Every good explorer needs one with a jolly name)
19. Vine sword
20. Ukulele

Today I have been learning a lot about whales like where they live, what the different types are, and what they eat. I hope you like my drawing.

I have also worked through a Horrible Histories game online about the Vile Victorians. It was good fun but I learned lots about the Victorians and Charles Darwin.

Hi all, Caspian is back!

I started today by working on my spellings – I like finding new and difficult words as I write a lot of my own stories and don’t want them to sound like every other writer. My latest story is top secret until I have finished it and agreed for it to be published.

I had some maths which were a refresher on decimal partitions, long multiplication and correctly identifying numbers in the millions which mum called out to me so I could write them down in words.

I watched Newsround – the top stories were about the Covid vaccine (phew), a Brazilian emu family, and the free style kite event, also in Brazil.

I started reading The Explorer by Jacqueline Wilson. I read up to the chapter titled The River. I thought it well written in places, detailed and very dramatic in terms of the story but the character did not seem well described which actually confused the story line.

Mum spoke to our new teacher today and we are starting our virtual lessons on Wednesday.

Hello everyone

Today I have done some colouring. How are you all today? I hope you all are okay. I’m okay. I would like to tell you the colouring was fun for us. Caspian’s picture is very good I tried my best like Caspian. We had a lot of fun. What did you all do today? I did a lot of colouring. Caspian’s drawing  was a wolf, my two are not wolves but are still cute too. Caspian’s wolf has red eyes.

Hello everyone

Today I have done some spelling and math’s. I had a bit of spelling is was not too hard for me. With my math’s I had some help from Mark  and now I know how to do taking away with partitioned 2 digit numbers.   I also learnt when to use a comma, exclamation mark and question mark. I wrote some sentences as examples for each kind.

Hi all, Caspian is back.

Today I did a comprehension on Europe (Named after the Greek Goddess Europa) and continued with some maths. Later on I did some work on the Vikings. I have watched some more Sherlock Holmes to find out more about the Edwardian period and I would like to start a lesson on dinosaurs soon because there is still so much to explore about that fascinating prehistoric period.

Hello everyone

Today I have done some Maths and Reading. I was reading the teddy bear band.  In the picture I saw 5 bird’s they where so lovely to me the bird’s were sitting on 2 tree’s and it well it was so lovely. My maths was a bit hard, it was adding 2 digit numbers using partitioning, but I did it in the end. In Teddy Bear Band I felt like I was in the book because the book is just so lovely and well the book is where you you just want to be a teddy bear and have teddy bear friends like I want  to be a teddy bear and have teddy bear friends.

HI ITS BRUCE HERE TO TELL you ABOUT BIG WOOD LAND BREAK. EVERY FRIDAY WE PUT ARE WELLIES on  AND GO FOR A PLAY IN THE WOODS FOR ONE HOUR .2:00 till 3:00.its basically an hour of playing in the woods. we play games like manhunt and sardines  and just climbing trees.  my favourite  subject is climbing trees. my favourite tree is right at the fence but we are not aloud up that tree any more because James fell down it sadly. we also up the woods Mrs madden takes some whoopers and cuts off some willow .and we also take the knife bag. up the woods the we sit down and whittle a stick.

On Sunday we cleaned out Luna and Auroras cadge they couldn’t come out there cadge tho.We gave them treats to comfort them while we did Aurora and Luna both let me pet them.They wore really scared so right after we cleaned the wood chips we gave them back some hey and a hide.after we gave them fresh food and gave there water back. When we wore cleaning there bed they kept trying to come back. It was  so much then. when we finished cleaning them out we spent hath and hour talking to them and getting them to trust us a bit more we tried to handle them but failed they didn’t want s to but we are gonna try again next week. They got really excited that day to and my granny met them for the first time because we face timed her. Luna and Aurora wore so sleepy at the end of the day they fell right a sleep hath the night.  By Alexa.
