Hi Olly we’ve missed you! today I am going to tell you about the ceilidh. On Friday last week we done a ceilidh since it was national ceilidh week. We practised all week and parents came in at 2:30 for it. If your parents were there you would dance with them but if not you got to go with a partner. I went with lots of people I went with Daisie Rory and Rory’s mum. We done Gay Gordans, Canadian barn dance and Dashing white sergeants. For Dashing White Sergeants I was with Rory and Rory’s mum.

Hi in the last week i have learnt about lots of things that i am going to tell you about. First Maths, in maths we have been learning about fractions we had to figure out what fraction was biggest and the smallest. Judaism, in class we were put into groups and we had to learn about a religion. We chose Judaism.

Hi Tom here today i am going to talk about Maths, Literacy and topic. Maths- in maths we have been learning fractions. In fractions I have made a fraction wall  i made a whole, half, third, quarter, fifth and sixth.  We have been trying to figure out what fraction is bigger. Literacy – In Literacy we have been doing reading box card, spelling workout and read our books. I am reading number the stars. Topic- In topic we are learning about world religions. I am doing Judaism I learnt that they pray in a synagogue.

Hi Tom and Dannie here today we are going to talk about our holidays.  On the holidays Tom got a skateboard and a drum kit. Dannie got a violin and a Ipad.

Tom went to his friends house and his granddads. Dannie went to my nana and papa’s and his friends house.   Dannie got roller blades. Tom got a candle. Tom went sledging and had a snowball fight. 

Hello this week we went to the Devils Porridge Museum.

This week in maths my group and I have been doing order of operation.  We call it BIDMAS which stands for brackets, inversions, division, multiplication, addition and subtraction. that means if a equation like 8-(1+2) the answer is 5 because we start with the brackets then we take away 8. We also have had some sheets to figure out the are based on BIDMAS.  I enjoy maths allot.

Hello it is Tom and Alexi  here today we  are going to talk about our learning. First we are going to talk about WW2 projects. In WW2 we have made planes made posters and wrote newspapers.  Now we are doing a personal project which is were you make a introduction page  then contents page and after that you write the information pages. Tom is  doing aero planes. this is a photo

Hi its Tom and today I will be talking about Halloween . on Halloween I was venom and my friend Thomas was dobby from harry potter. on Halloween day we done a disco scavenger hunt and pumpkin carving and a quiz. I made the quiz with rune. I started on the quiz and ended on the disco. my favourite thing to do was the disco we played musical statues, best dancer wins, the mummy game in the mummy game we have toilet paper and we rap the oldest person I our group and whoever raps the person first wins and we also played corners. I didn’t win anything sadly but it was still fun.  That’s all for now bye.

Hello it is Tom today I am going to talk about WW2. In world war 2 topic we have been learning about planes and rooms this is a picture of me drawing a slice of bacon. We also made aeroplanes I made a spitfire. We also could of made Messerschmitt. the Messerschmitt is a German plane. The spitfire’s British. the spitfire is the most famous plane from WW2.I liked the spitfire more because of its colours. the top is green and a greyish blue, the bottom is blue and white. so when you look from the ground it looks like the sky and when you look down at it it looks like the floor. bye

 

Hi Tom here today I am going to talk about the first week back on Monday we played the pirate game and we played that on Tuesday and Wednesday too! It was really fun.  We also done whole school games such as exhaustion tag and then we split into groups. In the groups we done stepping stones which is when you have some small steps and you have to take your team to the other side. We also done a game on our balance beam and we had to make different lines without touching the floor and for the last game we done a game were we put a ball over one persons head and then the next person would pick it up out there hands and put it under there legs and they had to get to the front. We also went to the woods and P6/7 had all got a P1 buddy and some of the P5s had a buddy too I had a buddy. We went to 2 woods and they were both fun! on Thursday we had a big Thursday and we done drama, P.E, outdoor learning and art.
