My gala group is The Elimination Quiz.

Sevi, Rune and Tom are also in my gala group.

We have just finished our gala day preparations.

I did a sign for The Elimination Quiz.

We do gala day so the school can raise money and last year we raised over £300! I hope we raise more this year.

Our new topic is Oceans and Seas.Last year I read a LOT of atlases last year so I can list all five Oceans and some Seas.

The Oceans are in size order but I am not sure about the Seas.

 

 

We have been learning about Kiva. Kiva is about not bullying people and being nice. We played games like the knot; which was fun. The knot is where everybody holds hands and two people untangle us.

Wish is a Warrior and Xar* is a Wizard.                                                                                         Wizards are supposed to have magic but Xar doesn’t.                                                       How they met is Xar made a Witch trap but instead of catching a Witch they caught Wish.**

Spelling – We get our spelling jotters out with our spelling lists. We write them and play games together.

Reading – For reading 🧧we get our reading boxes out to check whats on the clipboards. We do things like reading our group books first, then usually task map, reading box card, also alphabet game and blog review.

Maths – Rowan taught miss McCaskie a new German card game called Knach.  we learned about budgeting and money

IDL (Electricity) – In P 3-5 👩‍🦰👦🧑👧we made mind maps about electricians. We are making posters on publisher.

PE – In p.e we played the number hokey game and a 2 V 2 hokey match and practised Indian dribbling.

Health and Well being(KIVA)-We made a class Knot and Tasnim and Alexi untied us.

Blog-we blog about our learning every tuesday and some time’s we Do it about electricity.

Yesterday we played Rounders. I liked fielding because you can get people out and chase the ball.

Today we have been learning about Spanish and Spain:                                                                                                                                                                                                                             We have tried los Churros,la Paella,el Jamon and la Chorizo(Chocolate,Paella,    Ham,Chorizo.)

The colours(los colores),are Rojo,Anaranjado,Ararillo,Verde,Azul,Morado,Negro and Blanco(Red,Orange,Yellow,Green,Blue,Purple,Black,White)

Today in maths we started off doing partitioning.(I only got to partition one number because I had nine dice with numbers up to twelve.)

Then we did a maths assessment.

I was finished in about five minutes!
