Good afternoon! During the last few days this is what we’ve been doing. On Thursday we done art. We drew realistic pears. To make them realistic you have to shade them and colour them the right colour, you need to blend the colours together.  We used oil pastels to colour them in. The week before we done a half face portrait and we put designs around it. I’ll put a photo up so you can see .  

Hi it’s Daisie here. In maths on a Tuesday  we do rainbow maths its when we have 50 multiplication tables. I’m on level green and Dannie is on orange. We got ten minutes to finish it and if we finish it under 3 minutes 30 seconds AND get 45/50 you get to move up.  Goodbye

Hello this week we learnt about a variety of things. We read a book called The Wild Robot. Then we got in partners and told the other person the first chapter and they said the parts you missed. It was fun. In maths we done a maths assessment second day back to normal routine. Some people asked for it 🙂 ! We also played some maths games the first day back to our normal routine. We went to french and we played 21 . We also told each other what we done in the summer holidays. We done shapes in maths and we had to draw around the shapes and after that we made a pattern with shapes. Finally we done wider achievement!  That’s all for today  bye bye.

on friday the 19th we had gALA day.gala day is where you have different stalls and try earn money. the whole school earned £550. Personally, i think we done very well.

my group was doing face painting, furry friends and fake tattoos. we made about £90. FURRY FRIENDS WERE £1, face painting was £3 and fake tattoos were 50p.

My class P 5/6/7 went on residential to Rock uk. My favourite activity was kayaking. I kept falling out on purpose. We went down a big slide. At the end of the slide i got water in my face it wasn’t very nice. I was scared at the start but nearer the end it got less scary. Kayaking is a open water sport.

The most challenging activity was abseiling. Abseiling is where you walk down a wall. It’s about 10 meters off the ground. It’s very scary. You have to use your braveness skills.It’s scary on your first try but when you try again its less scary.

The one i’d do again is zip line. The walk up to the zip line is so long. Alexi and I went on together both times. The zip line is 300 meters long. You need to use your leading skills.

After school today I’m going to my 2nd athletics competition. I’m still quite scared though. I’m entering 600 meter run , 80 meter sprint and long jump. It’s at Dumfries Keswick Athletic Centre. Also known as DKAC. I think i’m in the under 12 or under 10 group. It starts at 5:00 o, clock.

Can we tell you about Big Thursday?

First we went to P.E with Miss Sharp. We were doing Athletics.

Next we went to Computer Science with Mrs Murray. We were making fake news.

First on Thursday we had P.E with Miss Sharp. Miss sharp is new. We where doing Athletics.

Then we done Computer Science. In Computer Science we where making fake news about anything we could think of.

Now we done Outdoor  learning. We had the choice to do weeding or prune the fruit trees.

Finally we done music. We had to guess the genre of the music. we watched a short animated film with no sound and we had to make the music out of the instruments we had.

On Sunday I went to Hull! It took me and my mum about 4 hours to get there. We were staying at the Holiday Inn. When we got to Hull we went to the shopping centre. When we were in the shopping centre we went to Primark and Mollies Cookies. My mum got 3 milk chocolate cookies and 3 white chocolate cookies. I got 2 Oreo cookies with Nutella in the middle. Then we went to ice hockey. It was Solway Sharks vs Hull Seahawks. Sadly, Solway Sharks lost.
