Hello Owen here today I am going to talk about French. This week in French we have been learning how to tell the time. Although we normally play a game of  21. 

                     Residential

 

On Wednesday we went to Rock UK or a residential. When we were there did activities including kayaking and canoeing.

 

Canoeing

First we put on a helmet and a live vest for safety. After we had done that we got in to partners and fond a canoe to sit in. Once we got in to our canoes they pushed us in to the water. AND WE LANCHED IN TO THE WATER! We had a little paddle around for a while and wend around an island. Alothgh some mud feel out a tree and landed on my head! After we got round the island we played a game in the canoes called fruit salad. In fruit salad you get given a fruit. If the instructor calls your fruit you stand up and shout whatever fruit you are. And they might say your fruit squash that means you have to stand up and shout what you are and then do a big jump! Since we had extra time, we played a game called consequences canoe. To play this we all held on each other’s canoes. The instructors ask everyone the same question like do you have a cat? If they do they go into the consequences canoe. If you are in the consequences canoe and the next question does not apply to people in the canoe they have to leave.

 

Kayaking

Once we got to the shed, we put a live vest and a helmet. After we put them on we got into a line from shortest to tallest to see what size of kayak you need. I got a small green one. After that we sat in them there was two little black footrest that we had to adjust to fit us. Once we had done that we slowly shuffled towards the water off the dock. SPLASH the front of my kayak went right into the water and popped back up! In the water we played bulldog. In bulldog the person who is IT needs to tap the back of the other peoples kayak to IT them. If you get IT you join the bulldog!

(Brody speaking) what is your favourite football team?                              (Owen speaking) My favourite football team is CELTIC FOOTBALL CLUB

(Owen speaking) what do you like to do as a hobby?                                    (Brody speaking) My hobby is FOOTBALL!

(Brody speaking) what is your favourite video game

Owen speaking my favourite video game is fortnite beacuse you can play with friends

Hi Owen here today I am going to talk about my football training. Yesterday at my football training first we did a fun game where there is a ball, cone, bib on a big cone. Then your couch shouts two of the objects and then who ever is at the front of the line runs and swaps the two things that where shouted. After you have swapped the two objects you run to the end of the pitch and run back. After that game we did a passing drill and every five minutes they put an other ball in until we cant take any more. That is all from me.

Hi Owen here! At my school we have been working on the body for IDL. We have made some posters and righting. The first thing we did was on the skeleton. We made some posters that had most of the bones in the body.  

Hi Owen and Brody here we are going to talk about our football. Owen play for Morten Thistle and Brody plays for Heston Rovers. At Heston training we done 2 union jacks. Then we done  a passing drill , a shooting drill , a dribbling drill and then some matches. At Morten Thistle we did a pass and move one two and some mini matches, shuttle runs at the end we did a big match. 

Hi Owen here I am going to talk about the photography contest. Mostly ever body in the P6/7 class entered. This is my photo that I took. The feme for the contest was wonderful water. In my photo I am trying to show how the water on the glasses makes a cool pattern and reflection. The contest is ran by Rotary Club. There are 2 age groups the JRs and Intermediate I am in the JRs group. That’s all from me bye 🙂 😉

Hi I am Owen I am going to talk about the new years party at the Creighton golf cores. When we walked in to the party we seen a bouncy castle it was kayos in there. 2 of my friends where there Brody and Roi all of us went out side and played tag. Then we came in to get some food the food was great my favourite thing was the fries. After we went to the bouncy castle and finally nobody was on it so we did some front flips and left the party.
