My group for the parachute challenge was me harry and Mena. For the parachute challenge and the goal was to slow a egg down so it did not breaking. my team had 2sec it did not break yes. My parachute was a plastic bag.

 

 

Yesterday my class played Kahoot. We did different topics like forces, horses, and dogs for a warm up then we made a Kahoot games. We played 6 games 4 of them without p7’s  2 games of them were with p7’s without p7’s I won 0 games with p7’s I won one game it was the dogs round. I got on the podium 3 times the 3 that I got on were dogs, horses, and forces. My favourite ones  was the dogs round and the horses.

That’s all for today bye.

I learning more healthy food and nutritious like starch fats and oils proteins and fibre. Then I done a poster about it in p6/7.

In PE we are doing tennis and we are going to play games against  one a over in a match. Then we do art and photography and we tack a photo on a camera.

Then we done drama about Olympics and the sports in it.

Then we do outdoor skills and make hot chocolate.

My class done  minions on the class door and we done it together as a team.

It says 6/7 are one in a minion with hot air balloons with are rules on it.

We have rope on the minions.

Olly – I went on a residential to Rock UK for 3 day,s and 2 night,s . First day we did abseiling, a stream walk and a night walk. second day we had a 13 hour day ahead of us. First we did open canoeing and raft building. Then we did leap of faith and then we did a crates thing and me and harry got 9 crates until we fell off. On the third day we did the low ropes and a scavenger hunt and then we went back to school and home.

Rowan – On Friday we made big sea animals and we are going to put them on the wall. I made a Moon jellyfish and there was also a shark and an octopus.

we have been learning in P3-5 about electricity we had a special visitor today called mr mcaskie and he showed us bits and bobs for testing power and told us about his life he used to drive trucks and this is a picture of a bullnose scania v8 he has been an electritian since he was 15 he wanted to be a truck driver but the minimum age was 21

We are  reviewing a book called Poppet .

The book is interesting   and  OK.

To summarise it, Poppet was born, Poppet went exploring saw a mouse freaked out became friend’s,  the end.

I would gave it 6.5 out of 10 .

I would recommend it to young kids of all ages.

We have been learning about electricity and circuits in p3-5.  The circuits we made had three wires. Our circuits powered light bulbs in a holder, a coloured light with wires and a buzzer. We even added in a button to our circuit.  Then we drew a circuit using symbols.

Miss McCaskie’s dad brought in some wires and lights into school. The three wires are called earth, neutral and live.
