Hello its Carlay and Asil  talking today im going to talk about town trip. In Asils group she had miss mcnay , Sam , Sevi ,Recce , Anya ,Ami ,, tayla mae Owen and Isla G . In my group it was miss Patie , Alexi , David , Curtis , Tasnim  Mckenna , Nancy , Liam and Thomas H. Hi its Asil here my group first went to the Dumfries  museum and looked at the camera  obscura. Next we went to Robert Buns house in there we looked for things that he used and we wrote what there called . Unexpectedly Miss Mcnay lost her phone .SO, where going to the dock park then we saw Miss Gilstons group then we went back together. We go on town trip every 3 years . Its so fun .My favorite part was lunch !

World Book Day was on Thursday 6th of March 2025

Our Event group planned a day for WBD

We had so much fun in Outdoor Learning, we did a bear hunt in the woods for Miller’s toy bear. We had to go through branches, through rivers, over bridges . Our teacher was Mrs Somerville.

In art we did  a big wall display for Paper dolls and The Hungry Caterpillar book and  it was fun the teacher was Mrs Murray.

In computer science we did   stop motion drawing characters from your book  or scratch it was soooo fun  and the teacher was Mrs Mc nay

In P.E we played a new game called quidditch from Harry potter and it was fun so we want to play it again. by ruby,carlay,libby and tyla mea

Hiya its Alexi and Carlay

Today were talking about our writing, we have been writing about the skeleton our first thing we wrote about was the school show we did charlie and the chocolate factory. When we do writing we look for capital letters , full stops , finger spaces , commas, extramation marks and question marks. I have got green 4 times in a row we allways mark sombody elses work. The more senteses we get wrong we get red the more we get green we get a green. Carlay has got a green 4 times in a row. I have had 6 greens so far. In writing we  have been writing about paper man, boa, peper and others. We have a chart we are all most at the green line. If we get over the green line the pepol that did get a green line we get a sticker but we have never got over the green line but I think that we will sone.

Hi its Carlay and Emily.

We are going to talk about our learning about Hinduism. We drew pictures of the gods and godesses and the Hindu symbol. The gods and godesses are called Shiva , Bramah, Vishnu , Genesha, Hanaman and other gods.

We watched  a video of a story called Rama and Sita, it was a grate story. We rote facts about Hinduism  .

We miss you so much we hope you come after Christmas

 

hi Carlay speaking today we made rock cake we had to get 200g  of flour mine was gluten free then 75g of butter then we mix it together then put 75g of raisins then mix  then put little balls of the mixture on our tray then miss Pattie put the rock cakes in the oven for 12 minutes.

Hey it’s Carlay talking. On Sunday I had a gymnastics competition I done floor first. My routine was a forward roll, plank to crouch, V-sit,cat leap, cartwheel, tuck jump, balance on one foot, round off .next I had vault I done a tuck on then tuck over. After my Mum and Dad got me food I had a cookie and nachos. My Mum went to work then my Dad took me to my gymnastics competition to see the results I got  to watch other gymnasts. My teacher do flips then we got called out on the floor mat to see what place we got. I got 6th place with my friend Pippa!

A man came in to p4-5 on Monday he was doing games first he made us introduce our selfs so we went in a circle and said our names next we  sang Jimmy lost his jaurie after we sang cobbler cobbler  then he played the guitar he made us do beats then he copied it on the guitar after we play don’t clap this one back voice

First I have Mrs McNay for photography. We take pictures and edit them.  I took pictures of plants  and stuff outside.  One day we took pictures of one colour – my colour was blue!

Then we had MIss Patterson for PE. We practised communication  and  eye contact for Tennis.  Our warm up was chain tig and exhaustion tig.

 

next i had drama with miss murray we done it about the olympics me alexi and tailia was in a group to act out a sport we done football but somthing bad had to happen so alexi toock a  penalty it hit the pole it flew in the staudiam i got hit i fell of my seat and got hurt

 

next i had miss mccaskie for out  door learning we made fires to make bread mine was hot but it was solid i made a bracelet.

first we had Miss M’cnay we done art we took pictures  we done landscape  and portrait so we went outside to take pictures of plants, trees and other stuff.

Next we went to Miss Patterson for p.e and we were doing tennis we done capture the ball.

Summer Holiday
