Hey Holywood!!!!

How are we all? Hope you are all well. Today at topic we have been designing a little protection for an egg and the egg is just like our skull and we are going to test them to see if the protection is strong enough that the egg doesn’t break inside. We are pretending that the egg is our skull and that it has a VERY VERY strong protection so our skull / the egg doesn’t smash! We are going to drop them off the side of the tree house! I think it will be SO FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our new topic is a religion called Hinduism. Here is some things about Hinduism.

Hinduism is THE WORLD’S OLDEST RELIGION, according to many scholars, with roots and customs dating back more than 4,000 years. Today, with about 900 million followers, Hinduism is the third largest religion behind Christianity and Islam. Roughly 95 percent of the worlds Hindus live in India.

It is really near Christmas and most people have put their trees up. I am one of them. In my room I have stripped my clothes tree that my grandpa made out of wood and I have got some of the decorations and put them on it.It’s next to the desk and bunk bed.

It is the 1st of December and the week

after next week we are having a BIG CHRISTMAS SHOW based on our topic

and it is called EDDIE THE PENGUIN SAVES THE WORLD!

We have been learning about climate change. You can help climate change by not doing these things- burning  fossil fuels, polluting the oceans and rivers and using plastic.

There’s little things you can do to help climate change like walking to school and not using cars as much, turning old clothes into something else, turn the lights off when your not using them, not using electricity as much and  buying things that are not wrapped in plastic packaging  but using paper packaging.

Hey guys!!!

This Halloween on Friday me and my sister  are going to dress up as a soul sucking  dementor from Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban. I think they are  going to look Amazing. The school is going to have  to wear a home – made costume and we are going to have a costume parade – whilst everyone is clean and tidy, a Halloween hat competition, spooky stories – spooky wee books, bat hunt in the woods, Halloween disco and games, Guising – ( trick or treat ). I m going to as my parents if me and my sister can go trick or treating up and down the road to my  neighbours and next door neighbours.

Hello team Holywood!

This week for our big Thursday magazine cover challenge  I decided to make a cover for an arts and crafts magazine. I wanted it to be bright and fun. To start with I wrote down lots of ideas. Then three of my favourite ones and started to sketch some different layouts. I decided to call my magazine ‘NEON’ I decided to call it neon because I like bright colours and the word is quite short. I designed it by myself on the iPad.
