Wild flowers and our den

Today is very warm! We had a great day in the woods, we saw lots of wild flowers and took pictures of them, the foxglove was taller than me and the thistle was as big as Zara!

There were a lot of broken empty egg shells lying everywhere as well.

We checked out all the dens from last year but not much left of them so we built a new one, it was great fun.  I then found a big bouncy branch low to the ground that we could sit on and bounce so I called it a swing saw.  The ground  was quite dry when we arrived but by the time we left it was very muddy and we went home very dirty. 😃

Sentences from word list

Today I have been learning my word list 5 again, mummy helping me try to put sentences together using some of the words.  She did the first one and then I had to try and make my own sentences for the rest.

Have a good weekend everyone.

Maths

The last 2 days I’ve been doing mostly maths, I’m finding the difference between numbers a little tricky so I’ve been doing more on that but I’m getting the hang of it a little more now.
I have also been doing more practice in halving numbers, that has been a bit tricky too.

Cash codes

This morning I did cash codes and it took me all morning, it was quite tricky.

My Friday Fun

Today I had a lot of fun.

First of all my sister and I added our stones to Franklin the covid snake at school.

I then did some words from my word list.

After lunch we went to the dock park with the bikes and scooters and cycled a lot!  We then cycled to castle dykes and did lots of rolling and cycling down the big steep hill!

I got lots of grass stanes on my clothes, it was like being back at school!!

Have a good weekend, Reece
