Hi we are Zara and Abigail,

We are talking about our sports day.

What we won, I won coach and horses race with Liam. I only won one. Abigail won skipping and relay race she also came in 2nd in egg and spoon race  and sack race.

My favourite race was flat race and my 2nd favourite race was egg and spoon race. Abigail’s favourite race was skipping cause she won and her 2nd favourite race was sack race.

Ice cream!!!!

Zara got Vanilla ice cream

Abigail got Vanilla with strawberry sauce, the sauce fell off her cone.

They where supper tasty.

Hi its Abigail

“And I am going to talk about Gala day. You will be wondering what Gala day is. It’s where you go in a group, minimum 1 and maximum 5. I went in a group of 4. I was the p7, there were two p6, Anneliese and Nia, and a p4, Carly. She is very nice. Then you pick something to sell. We did squishes and nails. The squishes sold out and the nails were busy. We had lots of people getting gems and not so many going for the design and plain colour. Everyone wanted gems. To be honest, I really like gems on my nails. I went home and covered my nails in gems. I loved them so much. And I am definitely doing that stall again.”

Now our school is one of the lucky schools in Dumfries area that got to go we started by walking to the bridge which was alright cause it was a nice day. We then started by them showing us our village places we where the last group there we just went through the songs and where our places are when we move. We then had a quick break. After we all went to separate rooms because the sorceress knew a different song to the villagers. First he picked 4 people 3 from our school 1 from Duncow we got just to act crazy it was fun. After was lunch and then we had a dress rehearsal which was funny because mine was really hot because of all the layers that i was wearing. We then did a live performance and there was a few parents from our school and then other parents from other schools it was really fun, creative and we even got wands and i give it 9/10 which is a really good score.

So my favourite thing would have to be Zip line , Abseiling blindfolded and Stream Adventure but i loved jumping in to the lake because it is cold but you got a thrill.

Abseiling I enjoyed it because I got to demonstrate it was also just good to run down the wall and jump down like the wind was just flowing through you hair. It was awesome plus after 2 shots I got to be the first one in my group to go down blindfolded which is exiting only 2 other people did after I had gone down it was awesome.

Zip Line well at first my partner was really scared but i had done it before and it was really fun we saw people canoe and kayaking and it was awesome long walk up to the top though but worth it.

Now we are going tomorrow and this how I feel

First is the bus well its the bus I am not exited for the songs that some on will sing on the bus through.

• Abseiling  Well we didn’t do it last time so no one has done it but i think it will be really fun I was actually the one that suggested it and we are doing it instead of geo chasing. Now I am not afraid of heights so I think I will really enjoy it.
• High ropes. Well we did it last time and i really enjoyed it because there are different activity’s you do in that section like how high can you stack the blocks and yo get to jump from a high pole and try to caught it.
• Canoe Well i have always liked paddling and you get to follow the instructor doing it and it is really fun to do I have planned to go with my friend Niamh and i promised not to tip her in which will be fun.
• Stream walk  Well last time i wore the wrong shoes and got completely drained and could not where them any more but this time i am going to have a good time and not worry because i have wore the right shoes.
• Night walk really exited to cool down after a busy day.
• Raft building well i hope we tie it properly this time and then it will not break and i wont fall in because i got a big shock last time.
• And that is the first day

Now we are doing May month challenge and here is 2that my family did.

Hi

I did a  point exam at ballet I had some really good scores and some I need to work on.

First I did this balance on 1 leg which sounds easy now close your eyes and hold for 30s it is not so easy now. You have to do it on both legs.

2nd you lift 1 foot up and Relevé up and down 25 times it is so sore on the first 5 and of course you have to do it on both legs again.

3rd Now this was my worse one 1.  You layed on the floor lifted your legs and then you slowly lifted them but as soon as they where about to touch the floor you had to lift them back up.

4th jumps on 1 leg

5th aeroplane pele

Haiku is a  Japanese poem where the first line has 5 syllable and the 2nd has 7 and the 3rd has 5 again. How you know how many syllable  it has is by clapping the word or putting your hand on your chin and every time your chin moves that is a syllable. Here is mine.

HI today I am telling you about our new topic it is really fun. Yesterday we did a simple circuits plus a series, but the hardest one was the parallel, that was also my favourite. We also learned what the light symbol is. It is a circle with an x in it a switch is like a bridge if it is open the circuit is off and if they are together it is on .

Computer science: We started with a quiz that you had to research the answer but some times you had to type it differently from what it said on the board. We then moved on to downloading a sheet that you had to change different sentences to different colours of text size and even copy or paste.

Outdoor learning: After break we did trails using sticks, stones, flowers and chalk. It had to start somewhere in the playground. It had to go to your favourite place or it had a prize. At the finish my one just went to my favourite place and Gabriellas was a prize. It was a bouquet of flowers and a lady bug.

Music: We did body percussion. We started with a game you did a beat and then the person next to you changed it after a bit. Also we did a game where someone did a beat and the others had to copy it, and if the person in the middle spots you then you are out. After we went into groups and made a beat someone people where alright others where not original.

P.E: This was the last class of the day we did hockey we started with just dribbling with the ball and then played a few games.
