Hi it is Gabriella and Anneliese

We are going to tell you about opening night. Our show this year was Aladdin trouble and we preformed last night. It was pretty scary before you got on but after it was good fun. In the show l was the king and l didn’t have allot of lines to learn but they were long. My favourite part of the show was when widow twanky was on with abanazer.

It was the school show. In the show I was widow twanky. she is a comedy character. During the show my wig fell of. Before the show l was very nervous but as soon as l got on the stage l loved it. everyone laughed at my jokes and my favourite part of the show was the chase. During the chase l had a solo and it was very fun!

Last week on Friday we made shapes for the Christmas festival and we made lots of different shapes p6/7 did harder ones and p1/5s did easer ones. But l am exited for Saturday because l am going ridding lessons l used to go to one in  Thornhill but l left just before lockdown started but now l am going to one just as you go into Annan so that is exiting. Also l was at my dads last weekend and we got McDonalds Friday to Sunday and on Saturday we got Sweet Saidy,s and we had lots of fun and l have also been watching l am a celebrity get me out of here.

Our learning. On Friday the 17th it was my birthday and i am now 11 but Mr Mundell came to Holywood primary to tell us all about the MSP and the Scottish Parliament. We asked Mr Mundell some questions and then he asked us some questions all about our school! But tomorrow we are going to north west to do cooking i think and tomorrow night i am going to Wallace hall to see what it is like because next year we will be going to high school and if you cant tell l am going to Wallace hall and also my brother goes there and just now he is an S3. In maths we are doing 3D shapes for the Holywood Christmas tree. But our school show this year is Aladdin trouble and we did auditions on Friday after break l was going to audition for king but we ran out of time but miss dale has gave some parts out but i think l am the king because l am the only one who auditioned for him but l hope the show goes well!!! l hope you enjoyed this blog. Last week on Thursday we did the triathlon and it was good. When we got to the triathlon we walked around to see what its like and also we were a bit early. Once we walked around we went into the changing rooms and got ready for the pool one we were changed we then went to the pool and they told us what to do. When we got in the pool some did half of the pool and some did the hole pool and l did the hole pool. After that we quickly put shorts and a t-shirt on and we ran to the bikes and we got given a helmet and a bike then we biked all around the pitch once we did that we ran all around  another once we did that we went back got changed  and then had a snack and got the taxi back and that is all bye!!!!!!

Hi since we came back we have been doing a school topic all about the explorer and we got put into groups of 8 or 9 and we got a clip board with a sheet with tasks on it. The explorer is based on a book. We made head dresses and our hats had 1 big leaf with different sizes of leafs around it. We had this task and some one drew a picture of the forest  and we had to look at it and  draw it but different by using his style witch was fun.

Hi there today we are going to be telling you all about  d day.

D-day is when solders traveled to a beach and on news round there was some really good information because there was this guy and his brother he was 7 and a half and his brother was 6 and a half. Lets move on to learning so we did these big flowers with Primary threes and l did this nice blue flower and l did a yellow flower l got on to painting but l am still drawing.

Today we are going to be talking about residential.

Wednesday

on Wednesday we got the bus and after a while we got to rock UK once we got out the bus we got told to go into the sports haul. Then a lady came in and told  us about rock UK and she told us that the cabins will be ready at 1 o’clock so we went a walk  should l say a long walk and we came back got into our cabins and dropped our stuff in the and sat outside and had lunch once we did that we had the stream walk and it was good fun except from the tunnels. After we got to go in the pool and it was well fun the was a really sallow end and a shallow end and a deep end l was mostly in the deep end or in the middle. after the pool we had dinner and then zip line which was amazing good view.

Thursday

first thing in the morning we had breakfast and then we did  canoeing and raft building the lunch after lunch we did Geo cashing then high ropes after hing ropes we had dinner and the night walk the view was amazing.

Friday

on Friday we had breakfast and then we did scavenger hunt and low ropes and after we got lunch and then the bus came and that was it then we went back to school and waited for parents to collect us .

hi l am back and we ave been doing science so how we did it miss dale mixed sand,salt,rice,and rocks it was impossible because we had to separate it back to sand salt rocks and rice. to start this is easy pick out the rocks and sit the to side then get a sive and sive the rice with the sand and salt. Then you need a funal,and a pice of filter paper and fold it into four and make it into a cone and put in to the funal the get sand and put it in the put water in it then wait. Then you will get salt water and the u want to get a pice of black paper and poar the water on it carefully put it on something warm like a retarder then wait and there you have your salt and that is how u separate sand salt rice and rocks bye!!!!!!!!!!!!

last Friday  a man came in and his name was David and he was telling us all about geology. David also brought cool objects and they were very interesting to learn about them. he also told us about were he works and it looks scary but fun. he worked on a gas thing in the water and u need to train to go and u go in a helicopter and a boat to get there u need to pass the test. you also need to ware this body soot and it looks heavy and warm. And also on Sunday there was the kings coronation and it was like a tea party but sadly l wasent there because l was busy going shopping.

before l go this is a picture of a type of under water dinosaur scull and that is only a baby 1 wonder how big an adults would be it also has other objects in the picture to. l will also add kings coronation.
