we are learning how to upload photos to the computer.
Can you guess what our photos are?
These are hard ones, good luck!

Hi!
On Friday we were planting trees with Sam and the other people there. On Saturday, some of us were also planting trees. Me and my mum were planting cherry saplings on Saturday.
On Thursday we found a new typing game in computer science.
We were orienteering in PE, with some warm-up games.
We were drawing vanishing point cities in art.
We were making bookmarks or names in textiles. I was making one for Nathan.
We still have our World religion topic. Me and Alexa have finished our poster and diorama. I think we have also finished our model. It is a model of the inside of a synagogue.
We have spelling workout as first thing in the morning on most days.
We are planting trees again this afternoon.
Bye!
-Skye
For our world religion topic, we have all finished our posters, and are making a diorama or model in our partners.
As usual, we started the day with practising spelling, then we had a reading box card each, now most of us are blogging.
2 new pupils have joined the school.
In Maths we have been taught about simplifying fractions and stuff like that.
Last Friday we were finally able to go to the woods again! 😀
There were a lot of cut down trees still. We used some for our den.
On Thursday we had Digital Literacy with Miss Pattie, then Art with Miss Stapleton, then PE with Mrs McNay, then Textiles with Mrs. Jardine.
Also, we’ve been making things on Soundtrap, which is a really great music site!
😀 Bye 😀

This week is rehearsel week for our school play (Eddie the penguin saves the world). We have been given our parts, and added some extra ones. We’ve also been making props and bringing in/ using the school’s costumes.
It’s aimed for younger audiences so there’s some singing.
The prop I made was a banner I made for the radio station scene I’m in. I am playing DJ Donnie.
On Thursday, though, we aren’t rehearsing the show, but we are having a normal Big Thursday.
Some of the characters are: penguins, Polar bears, humans, bees, raccoons, and some other animals from the rainforest.
Bye 😀
On Friday was our school trip to the totem pole (In the Crichton) we were making an animal we would put on a totem pole (mine was a tiger because it is brave and strong and sneaky), anda trail (with things like a metal tree and a rock garden).
The rock garden was big and had a bench, a tiny waterfall, and a pond, as well as the smallest tree on the trail, the biggest tree was a type of pine, we found pine cones and actually they were some of the first to be found.
The Mexican totem (called totem latamat), had a rattlesnake, a message of strength, a falcon, a message of someone is always watching, and some other things, including a skull and a hat of hummingbirds. It was also bought all the way from Mexico.
We had lots of fun climbing the big trees and it was great when we were sliding ddown the giant hill (I got muddy but it didn’t show up not that I care). All I know is that the hill and the giant pine trees surrounded in branches so it was like a giant climbing room, were the most memorable.
The metal tree had copper leaves with the name of babies that died on them so they are remembred.
We were there for a day. Before the end of the day, we did more sliding down the hill :D. It was fun and also going back up the tall hill was exercise.
Bye 🙂
On last Friday the school went to the woods, and the Friday before that the none-native trees got chopped down for room for native ones. I was helping to rebuild a den I was in.
This week is health week!
On Monday we were sorted into groups and there was three activities. My group made banana pancakes. Today my group had PE, there was rounders only you kicked a ball instead of hitting a smaller one with a bat. We also had build-up and chain tig, and some rugby practise.
We also made data sheets this week of people in the class by their gender, age, hair coulor, favourite sport, and some other things.
My class is making extra pages for the script for the school play.
We are learning about the environment and the bees.
I just came back from French. We are learning about the names of things like a pencil case, and a ruler.
On Friday (the day before my brother’s birthday) we are going on a school trip, I’ll tell you about it next week.
Bye! 🙂
