Today we were setting up tent for the upcoming residential. Only 5-7 are going and I’m so exited to share a tent with hopefully my friends. It was actually really simple.

1.first you unravel the tent bag and lay everything out.

2.second you count the pegs and make sure you have all 12

3.you get the poles and attach them together and lay them on the floor

4.you get the poles and put them in the little pockets at the corners

5.you hook the little clips on to the poles making your bedroom

6.you take  the water proof layer and place it on top and hook it in

7.So you can sleep in it all night

When we came back from the Easter holidays  we has Easter day. in the morning we went up to the woods and went for a painted rock hunt  but the P6/7s had to find rocks painted like hot cross buns that made a snake. Then we did a boiled egg challenge i made my egg a old man sitting on a chair reading the newspaper i got a chocolate egg for it. After we rolled them down the hill i didn’t want to roll mine though so i went to small hill and rolled mine down. After lunch we designed and made Easter hats we all got haribos for them but the people who didn’t get a chocolate egg got another packet of haribos. Then it was home time.

My clay monsters name is Fergus he has green scaly skin and badly brushed disgusting uneven teeth. He has a long carrot nose and has a long scaled split tongue he has long horrifying crab claws. Fergus love to have a hot bath after a long day at the monster fashion club.

Yesterday we presented our world religion topic to the school it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. We set up in the hall then people came to learn more about the religion you were doing we didn’t have time to do the activities though. Today we have just finished our skills lesson there id four boxes brilliant good quite good and could be better we need to sort out the paper strip in to the boxes it was fun. We are also doing soundtrap in the afternoon. On Friday we are allowed to come to school in our pyjamas I’m going in a onzie and slippers.

We are doing a guess what it is photo challenge we are learning to attach photos  e-mails. Can you guess what it is?????????

Last Friday and today after lunch we are going tree planting  with the whole school behind the church to make a new woodland. We went on itv  i didn’t get interviewed tho. On big Thursday we start off with Miss Pattie with computer science learning touch keys we are also practising typing emails. Then Miss Stapleton with art we are doing perspective drawings. After that it’s Mrs Mc’Nae we do PE with her we are doing orientation. Last we have Mrs Jardine we are doing textiles and we are sewing book marks. 

 

we are learning about world Religion we are making models and posters of their place of worship. Me and my partner are doing Sikhism so we are doing a model of Gurdwara. We are also going to do a dirama after our model we are also doing the inside of our model. on big Thursday we are  sewing bookmarks in textiles it is really fun to design our bookmarks. We have learned how to do back stitch,cross stitch,running stitch.

This week we have been rehearsing  our school show.I am a turtle called Myrtle and Lottie is a narrator. We have been trying on costumes and making props and scenery out of recycled materials.

We have been trying to act as well as sing and dance too. We have practised our expression as well as are lines. We are really exited to do the school show.

So right now in maths we are doing bar graphs and tally charts we are mainly doing them about height. We got the scrips today we didn’t get through all of it though because of break it is good so far and i like the bits that we put in they are really good. We are also doing Eco fashion week in the afternoons my group are doing a really cool it is looking good so far.  Last  Friday we went to the Crichton we slid down every hill we saw we collected conkers i had a whole pocket full. We also saw a totem it was really pretty it came from mexico there was and eagle at the bottom and a lady she was holding up a basket of humming birds at the top and on the other side the was a rattle snake and a person it is really pretty. We had to draw our favourite part i drew the lady and the basket of humming birds we were their for the WHOLE day it was awesome.
