In school we have started a new topic weather and natural disasters, but at the moment we are just studying weather. Me and my partner were looking at wind, here are some types of winds, calm winds, light air, light breeze moderate breeze and fresh breeze, moving on to strong winds,  moderate gale, fresh gale, strong gale, whole gale, storm and then hurricane.

what is wind is the movement of air from a high pressure area to a low pressure area.

Today at school we were studying rocks there were3 stations first was dripping water on different rocks to se if it went through them or not  only one rock I tested actually did anything when I tried the chalk the water actually went through it! I know I didn’t  think it would either. Next we did rock identification I didn’t get much time at this station so cant tell you much about that, but I can tell a lot about my favourite station was the scratch test this is when you test if your rock is a soft rock or not.
