 On Wednesday Thursday and Friday the p7,s went on induction day and some went to Wallace hall. In maths we got to colour in football strips. The football strips we did all the different combinations we can make with 3 colours. In History we where learning about the worlds oldest man from 4300 years ago and he died when he was around 40 years old and he was found at the top of a glacier. In art we had to make our names into monsters we put teeth, eyes, toungs, noses and mouthes on them and we could put hats on them but some people didn’t. In English we did a word search I found about 2 thirds of the words because they where quite hard to find. in d&t we did 1 point perspective 3D shapes. In French we where answering questions a ,b ,c or d  in sign language.

Last week p5/7 went on a residential trip to Galloway activity centre for 3 days and 2 nights. It was very fun we got to go on a big swing , rock climbing , water slide , paddle boarding , dragon boat and we got to play games in the dragon boats we had a race. my favourites where rock climbing and paddle boarding but i really liked everything apart from the soup. the picture is the teacher going on the big swing. I went on a paddle board with someone else and we got blown away in the strong wind so one of the staff there had to give is a toe back to where it wasn’t too deep or rocky. The rock climbing was very fun and nothing went wrong but there was someone standing behind me and since they where so close i almost hit them in the face when i fell. at water sliding there was a guy with a hose and sprayed it down our backs

On Thursday in art we where making clay monsters. Mines looks a bit like a frog and its name is Froggy monster. It has sharp teeth and 2 big beedy eyes on the top of its head so that is why i called it froggy monster. I think I am going to paint it green so it will look even more like a frog.

In class we are reading books mines is The rise of wolves by Kerr Thomson.

 

it is about a boy called Innis who has a friend called Kat  they live on an island in Scotland called Nin. There isn’t meant to be wolves but Innis saw one he told Kat but she didn’t believe him. There is a big jump called THE BONNIE LADDIES LEAP. Whoever could do it is the king of the island.And Innis managed to do it.

 In class we are doing something called book detectives and we did Wizard of Oz and we made Wizard of Oz fortune tellers . 

On some Wednesdays we do sound trap 1pm to 3pm it is really fun we find the instrument we want on a computer then find the right tune and the right tone. We mix different instruments and  music like jazz, rock, hip hop and pop. When we find a good instrument we can favorite it or use it in our song. There is lots of instruments and we can use any kind.

In class we have been learning about world religions. Olivia and me have been doing christian. we have learned that church may be open everyday but definitely a Sunday because Christians believe that Jesus rose from the dead on a Sunday. We had to make a poster and we found lots of facts in books and on the computer. We think it is very interesting and fun to learn about. On the poster we have to put an even amount of pictures and facts.

In class we are learning our parts in the Christmas play im a raccoon baby called Ria Olivia is being Amy Dakota is being Eddie and esmae is Rami the part i wanted Rami . Amy Ria Rami and another raccoon baby are all raccoons.
