our weak is finished for Holywood hike  , I am going to tell you all about it. every time after lunch and fruit time we done a walk around the school for at least 15 minutes a weak ! some people were running some people were just walking ! the day that I got the most steps was on Friday but you could double the number you got the real number I had was 15 thousand 861 so if you add it all up it will probably come to 30 thousand. I think that is a big number , what do you think? I have had over two pedometers for this weak because the first one got lost then the other one stopped working it happened to Kaylan to so we both got pedometers  this weak . many people lost and broke there pedometers.

A lochken the first thing we did was getting our room sorted !! But the first Activity was laser tag , in laser tag we got into two teams blue and red most of the time we were in the red team . Some people got to swap teams . The other thing we did was the water slide in the water slide there was a newt that when we got of to get changed , some people didn’t  . The next day we went to the loch we struggled a lot  to get on our wet suits , the wet suits were soaking . first on the sailing I did not like the sailing but Dakota loved it , the other water sports we were doing was paddle boarding , when we went on the huge paddle board and me , Dakota , jack and Charlie started crying but jack got of with miss queen.

last weak we got into our gala day groups . we started to plan our stations that we are doing . my group is , me , Dakota , orla , katlayn and Olivia . we are doing what’s inside the balloon and ice cream stall , for the ice cream stall we are using strawberry and vanilla ice cream. for the what’s inside the balloon , you have to guess what’s inside the balloon we might put flour , slime and beads inside the balloon !

today we were watching newsround , there has been a protest in America and it was the biggest protest of the year , it was just made by children. Ariana Grande , Myley Cyrus and Jennifer Hudson were all at the protest to joined half a million protesters everybody was saying tighter gun control laws. What do you think about the protests ?

In the UK  people done this to but there was smaller number of people doing the protest.

Last weak we were doing work on artist the artist that I am doing is Bridget riley , Bridget riley does op art and her art is a bit like optical elusions. Do you know Bridget riley ? yesterday we were doing work on Judaism we had to get a piece of paper and a sheet that tells you about the food that they can and not eat , we got to write a menu for that kind of religion. also we have a French teacher that came all the way from France to us in France she is a teacher.

today we are going to be doing cross country training. at the real cross country training p4/5 have to 800 metre and the p6/7 have to do 1200 metre at cross country. for training we will be going around the school play ground and we have to play follow the leader. I remember last years training it was raining . last cross country I came 14th place I though that Dakota done good , Dakota came in 15th place.

this week we have changed are topic to Judaism with Mr Walker we had to go on Google and translate what we like about holywood school  and we also had to translate our name we also done some research about Judaism . we have been doing art , the art is called Matisse. Matisse is were you get lots of colours of paint and get a piece of paper then get your finger or a paintbrush and fill the paper with paint then once it is dry cut it out get a new piece of paper and imagine a photo that you want on that piece of paper , once you done that cut the paint paper and stick it down and that is all you have to do.

this week we got 3 days of but we had also had the weekend so that made 5 days of. after the weekend my cousin Liam came with my auntie Angie all the way from Edinburgh. we were playing with the dogs and my hamsters everyday !! we also made a dance up to show our mums , also everyday we played hide and go seek sometimes we would argue and sometimes we would not . on Thursday my cousin Liam went home.

today was the ration challenge I made corned beef fritters. I had Isla and Hayden in my group , Kaylans group made toad in the hole and in her group there was Ryan , Greg and Erin. when I made the corned beef fritters the corned beef looked really weird but it turned out really nice !

we have done the ration challenge twice. I think doing the ration challenge was a good idea because I think it is fun making corned beef fritters we also had mashed potatoes with carrots witch was delicious .

for the past few days it has been snowing ! on Sunday there was a huge pile of snow until five o clock it stopped . it was snowing last weak and me and Dakota have been having snow fights. today the there is some snow left but most of it is ice.

I love snow so so much I think that snow is great because there is so many things you can do with it ! some times we had to stay in because it was so cold outside. Dakota said she thinks snow is fun , Euan said that he loves snow so much! . there are people who don’t like snow and some people don’t like get hit by the snow balls. in the snow you can throw snow balls and build a snow man also you can build random things.
