The other day was target meetings Georgia had Miss Dale and Kaylan had Miss Sara’s Georgia’s target was counting backwards and Kaylan’s was to go to swimming which she is on the waiting list for.All of our parents said the target meetings went really well and that they hope it is going to be like that again next year hopefully everyone’s will be.

Sadly, some children have recently been very upset because the October holidays have come to an end!:-(

Every second Friday the Senior class are reading to P1-3. It is really fun and it feels like everyone is making a new friend throughout the school. Here is how it works. So Miss Dale pairs us up with a new person every second Friday and throughout the week they practise there book. So far we have had 1 week of doing this and on that week I read to Dakota Lyne we read Wanted! Ralf Rabbit Book Burglar and we both loved it and to make it more fun we can ask them questions about the book and there worst or favourite part. This week we have started practising our books and the next time we do these books will have to be after the October holidays or maybe tomorrow we don’t actually know! Just know I am practising to read Black Beauty and I love this book! I cant wait to see who my next partner is!

The Victorians is a project we are doing just now it is really fun Jack and Kaylan are doing there’s on health and Greg and Dylan are doing Roberts Stevens and the lighthouse. It is really fun and we get to do a power point or a poster. Kaylan is doing a Poster Greg is doing a picture/poster. We also have to do 2 pictures of queen Victoria and then add them to a poster. My favourite thing that we have to do is the Victorian heath not queen Victoria.

At break time for quite a while  we  have been trading Pokémon cards. Here are the rules for Pokémon trading:

• No fake cards
• The cards you trade have to have the same health or attack
• Don’t  trade good cards for bad cards
• you cant take cards back after you trade
• You are not allowed to take the Pokémon cards in the lunch hall or classrooms and we are not allowed to trade in the corridor.

Hamish, Greg, Kaylan, Logan, Elliot, Mark, Zak, Ethan, Euan, Freddy, Merissa, Georgia Gavin, Isla, Dylan, Ryan and Sarah-Jane all bring there cards to school. We all love the Pokémon trading cards will there be another season coming ?

Today I am bringing my ferret Hoody to school and he is so cute. We got my Ferret from my uncle who kept forgetting to feed him and clean him out. We are going to let P1-3 see him first then P4-7. Aidan is going to help me with him and we have got some good facts as well. Here is a fact just now They are lactose-intolerant and are not allowed to eat fruit bread or vegetables. they are allowed to eat eggs any kind of meat and ferret/dog buiscets.  We have a lead for him and we took him a walk on it a lot. He likes to play in the grass and he has a huge cage that he can play in.

Here at Holywood loads of people are going absolutely CRAZY about these Japanese Pokémon trading card games. Nearly everyone in P4-7 are going and buying them and trading them. Our highest HP are 60 (Georgia) and 150 (Kaylan). It is great fun trading in your cards for new ones you can get really rare ones and quite common ones. The small boxes are £5.00 and the big boxes are £14.95. There are loads to collect Kaylan doesn’t think she has a favourite out of her cards and Georgia’s favourite of her cards is Ghastly with 60 HP. Kaylan and Georgia think that lots of people know about it and like it but also that lots of people don’t know about it and we think that if some more people knew about it they would like it but we don’t know.

Our IDL with Miss Sarah’s just now is Paris, France. We have been doing this since she came to the school and I think it is really fun. The first thing we did was make a big section of writing with facts all about France and Paris as well as different facts I loved that part and I added in some different things that I already new about it. This time we learned about all the famous land marks in English and French. Then we did a little challenge. We where given a sheet of facts and then we had to highlight in our groups what lines everyone would do we also had to make a model of the landmark we were doing. We did the Louvre but we didn’t have time to properly finish our Lego model. I love doing this topic and I think there will still be loads to come.

Today we had 30 minutes reward time  although it felt like hours to me and Georgia!. It was really, really fun!!! We thought it was just going to be like break time which is fun but not as fun as reward time but today it wasn’t. To start of it was just like playing with chalk and at the mud kitchen and in the sandpit but soon after thing started getting creative crazy and great, great fun…First lots of people went to the shed and got out the building blocks then Mark and his friends got out these yellow things that you throw ball at another person and then they catch it and this is the part where things started getting crazy! Miss Dale Sarah-Jane and Logan brought out the block rocker and we put on lots of songs like heartbeat song and the friends theme song and lots of others. Kaitline brought out the pom-poms and started dancing along to the songs with them and as well as all that she started singing to! Then me and Georgia started to dance and sing and have great fun like everyone else then Dakota joined in with us and then we saw Euan Thomas and Merrisa putting a willow stick at the Kenyan round hose and I rushed over and started doing the limbo!

We had great fun and I wish we could do it again soon.

In the summer holidays I went to Loch Lomond with mum dad and Aidan. It took ages to drive there but we finally got there. Loch Lomond is a beautiful place and it was my 3rd time going there. Once when I was a baby, once when I was a toddler and Aidan was in his buggy and this is the 3rd time. In Loch Lomond I went to the sealife centre. We saw the stingrays, sharks, turtles,jellyfish, seahorses, fish and more. For dinner we had a takeaway pizza one pepperoni and one cheese for lunch we had a picnic down at the loch when we walked to the sealife centre we saw people water skiing and on speedboats and we saw lots of canoers and boaters in the loch we also saw dogs swimming right in the middle of the loch.

 

When we where going to Blackpool we where supposed to be going to Wales but we hadn’t went prepared so we went to Blackpool instead. We saw the Blackpool tower and we went to the zoo and the pleasure beach and the arcades. At the zoo we saw lots of cool animals. We got Blackpool rock mine where berry burst and cream egg flavour. On the way home we got a McDonalds.

I had a great time on both occasions.
