On Monday we learned what scale was and had to make 4 pictures for a partner (on squared paper) then they had to measure it using the squares on the paper. Yesterday we had to use scale to measure a table. Today Descartes had to make a mini classroom for our tiny handmade tables and we are making tiny chairs computers projectors whiteboards and more!

The book I am reading right now is Harry Potter and the goblet of fire  and this is my favourite book is right know so that’s who I dressed up as. Sarah-Jane dressed up as my best friend from Hogwarts Hermione Granger, to bad somebody didn’t dress up as Ron(Ronald) Weasley! This is how I dressed up:

I wore a white polo shirt

I wore a black jumper

I wore some dress up trousers

I wore my dock martins

I wore a pair of sunglasses with the lenses taken out

I brought my broomstick

I wore a pair of black socks

AND my mum got a black eyeliner pencil and made a scar on my forehead

then when I got to school I got a bit of willow stick and made a wand

anyway… back to world book day! Today at quarter past nine we did e.r.i.c then writing then we did maths and at half past 2 parents are going to come and we can do a book swap so say i brought in 10 books but i brought 4 we would swap them for 10 or 4 more books!!

Swimming at the Ice bowl

This week P3-7 have been going to the ice bowl to learn how to swim. Our teachers are Michael, Dawn and there is one more but we don’t know her name yet. We are going on these days: Monday, Wednesday,Thursday and Friday. Dawn is the teacher that teaches me and Euan how to swim properly. We have learned how to swim on our fronts and then roll onto our backs when we need to breath. It is really fun! Euan thinks swimming is really good the teachers are good teachers and the water is just the right temperature. I think it was really fun and the teachers are really nice to us.
