This week in the BIG READ page on the blog I have added some EPIC book recommendations for our READ AROUND THE WORLD CHALLENGE. This week we are visiting India!

We have our BOOK BLETHER at 10am on the TEAM HOLYWOOD chat (the one with the leaf picture). Hope to see you there for some book chat and a game!

Read Around the World Challenge!

As a school we will be travelling the world through books! Your challenge is to read books that are set in different countries OR by authors from different countries. We will have a display board up in school so we can track the different countries we visit.

Well done for reading 400+ books on EPIC! It’s great to see some of you sharing the books you have enjoyed on the blog – keep up the fantastic reading effort everyone!

Tomorrow morning at 10am we have our live Book Blether on Teams. Bring along a book you are reading at the moment or a book you have recently finished and tell us a little bit about it.

This week, I would also like you to think of a question you would like to ask your fellow Book Bletherers. It could be a question about a book they are currently reading, for example “What is the most exciting thing that has happened so far in your book” or you could ask a general book related question like “Who is the best book villain EVER?”.

You will have a chance to talk about your books and ask questions during the chat. Look forward to seeing you there!

Hope you are all having a great week so far. Still no snow (boooooo) but at least the sun is shining!

Big Thursday tasks are now in the learning pages. Remember to let us know what you get up to on the blog.

Thanks to everyone who joined in with Book Blether this morning. It was lovely to see all your faces and hear about what you’ve been reading. We were introduced to lots of interesting characters from Princesses and tooth fairies to dragons, detectives and out of control shoes!!

I’ve popped a video in the BIG READ page of the Danger is Everywhere novel that I mentioned at the start of the chat. If you’re a fan of the Tom Gates and Diary of a Wimpy Kid books I think this novel will appeal to you.
