This big Thursday as you all probably know we were doing a self portrait in the style of Andy Warhol.
Also yesterday was the first time in about a month that i have been in a car.
Confident, Creative Learners with Big Ambitions. Kind to each other. Kind to the Planet.
The following story did not actually happen.
“For goodness sake Rhona!” I yell in frustration as I turn the Whole room upside down looking for the lost remote. “Just tell me where it is!” I say through my annoyance. “You’ll never find it.” She says in a singsong voice.
“Just tell me where it is.” I say hoping she will just give up. “I’ve been looking for 10 minutes!”
That is when I notice a large black box shaped thing sticking out of the bin. “YOU BINNED IT, RHONA?” “Yes so?” “You will ruin it!” I press the button to turn the tv and am not surprised when nothing happens. I roll my eyes and go upstairs to read instead.
As most of you may know, the corona virus is a illness that has no cure and is rapidly turning from a epidemic to a pandemic. (This means that it is going from a few country’s to most country’s). It can feel like a cold to some but can be much worst to others.
Thankfully us in the UK and other places have not felt the full force of this illness yet with only about 51 cases of it.
Yesterday we did weather presentations and our weather was lightning and we did a epic poster which we thing was great in our opinion, so here are some of the facts we put on it.
lightning is formed by tiny pieces of ice in a storm cloud that rub together that make a static charge which, when big enough will come down and strike the earth. Lightning can strike the earth millions of times per day with a charge that can be as powerful as 125 volts at speeds of up to 270,000mph.
Different types of lightning include sheet lightning and fork lightning. Sheet lightning takes up the whole sky in that area for a brief second whereas fork lightning shoots down to the ground in bolts or jagged lines.

This is a rock.
Rock is solid. This means it is not a liquid like water or a gas like steam. It occurs naturally so it is not man made. There are lots of rocks. They are big. They can also be small. People use them for building. They can be round. Big ones are usually heavy. Small ones are not heavy sometimes. Big rocks are boulders. Tiny smooth ones are pebbles.
