75th Anniversary of VE DAY

This Friday marks the 75th anniversary of Victory in Europe. A celebration marking the end of the second world war in Europe.

The May bank holiday was moved to this Friday so that people could have a day off and choose to celebrate if they want to.

Some places are having a Stay Home Street Party.

Some are going to hang bunting up on their fence or in their window.

Click on the link if you would like to know how to make your own bunting for this Friday.

I wonder if Colonel Tom Moore will hang victory bunting in his window?

Search Party out looking for our P7 Pupils!!

WANTED

Have you seen any of our P7 pupils?

They are rare and hard to spot on the blog.

You may have noticed them in the out in the garden; playing with their pet dog; baking with their mum; swimming in the river; feeding their pet rats or reading to their little brother.

If you spot one of our rare P7 pupils (we only have 5) could you ask them to post a blog.

Thank you for your help!

Miss Dale 🙂

This week’s Alliteration work for P5-7

Terrified teachers taught tremendous tigers.

Tremendous tigers terrified teachers taught.

If terrified teachers taught tremendous tigers.

How many tremendous tigers did terrified teachers teach?

You don’t have to be P5-7 to try writing your own alliteration tongue twister – just check out the rules on the P5-7 literacy grid for this week.

Wrote it but can’t say it…

Off to work on it !
