The Atlas and Asia

Hi. Caspian here.

Today I did some geography, maths, spelling and literacy. I really enjoyed my music lesson. I want to play the violin again after lockdown. Tanith really wants to learn the ukelei though. I looked at Asia in an atlas and answered questions Mum had posed for me. It was very interesting identifying for example the types of industry in some Asian countries. In literacy I made a limerick. I am not going to put it here because I have not finished it, and I have not caught the grasp of proper limerick rhyming. yet.

That is all today so bye.

  1. Hi Caspian, glad you are finding learning about other places interesting. Just a couple of weeks ago I listened to a podcast about geology and it was explaining how different types of rock formations under the ground led to different industries being in that area, which I had never really considered before. For example, where there is a lot of chalk under the ground it is good for growing cotton plants, so the cotton industry in the USA is all around the chalk lands. I would be interested to hear from you about the types of industry in Asia.
Well done for keeping up with all the other subjects, Caspian.

  2. Hi Caspian, I am looking forward to the day you can play us a tune on your violin. I play the ukulele very badly – but I can help Tanith out by lending her a ukulele and a beginners book. We have taught the pupils at Holywood the ukulele in the past.
I would also like to learn about industry in Asia – what can you tell us?
