Hi everyone
I did maths. First I did the blocks where you have to write in half. Im getting the hang of halves and quarters. I also did Sumdog.
I’ve read Cinderella and prince cinders and done some tasks.
Prince Cinders versus Cinderella.
Same.
The main characters are both mistreated.
The main characters both met someone at a event.
A fairy arrived for both main characters.
Both main characters have to tidy up and clean.
Both main characters lost a bit of clothing.
Both main characters had siblings.
They both have a happy ending.
Different.
Prince cinders was a boy and Cinderella was a girl.
The magic in Cinderella was good and in Prince Cinders the magic was bad.
Cinderella went to a ball and cinders went to a disco.
The fairy that helped cinders was a bit scruffy the fairy that helped Cinderella was neat and tidy.
Cinders had a toy car for transport Cinderella had a pumpkin carriage.
cinders lost his trousers and Cinderella lost a shoe.
Prince Cinders had brothers and Cinderella had sisters.
I preferred Prince Cinders because it was a bit funny. Cinderella is more serious.
1. Prince Cinders was washing the socks.
2. Prince Cinders has 3 siblings.
3. The fairy fell down the chimney on saturday night.
4. Prince cinders brothers are big and hairy and mean.
5. When prince cinders arrived at the disco he couldn’t fit through the door.
6. Prince cinders ran away from princess lovely penny because he was shy.
7. Prince cinders brothers got turned into cleaning fairys.
Today we did a task for children’s mental health week. We were told a feeling. We had to pick a colour that reminded us of that feeling and then we had 2 minutes to draw a picture that made us think of that feeling. Once the 2 minutes was over we’d talk about our picture and the feeling and when we might feel like that.
bye everyone see you soon😊

Hi Rory,
You have done a lot today! Your sentences are fantastic! You have a good understanding of the story – I’m glad you found Prince Cinders funny. You’ve even chosen an appropriate emoji for your blog post!
Your health and wellbeing activity is great, too, and I’m glad you are getting the hang of the halves and quarters.
Super blog post, Rory.
You have done a lot of comprehension work on the Prince Cinders story – well done Rory. I’m glad you are getting the hang of halves and quarters.
I like Prince Cinders better too Rory – it is funnier isn’t it? I think I like the cat best in it – like when he is in the police car talking on the radio. Great comprehension work on it, and well done for your fractions work.
