I like the Darth Vader quote “You underestimate the power of the apostrophe.” I would say, “Never underestimate the power of punctuation.” It can change the meaning of a sentence. Nice work Rhys.
Hi Rhys, you’ve completed a lot of work today! Great algebra. Apostrophes are used to show that something belongs to someone, and when you make a contraction (when you leave some letters out of a word, the apostrophe goes in their place). You’ve really got the hang of the contractions – fantastic, Rhys! When you are showing something belongs to someone, the apostrophe usually goes before the s:
Darth Vader is Luke’s father.
Unless it belongs to more than one thing, for example:
The Ewoks’ home planet is Endor.
Hope that helps. Great effort today, Rhys, keep it up. 🙂
great work keep it up
Great work Rhys. You are doing really well with your algebra work, I am impressed!
