Today we did our wake up shake up by going a nice long walk/run. Zara and I took some chalk and wrote on the road.
When we were a walk we saw all this white stuff all over the grass, it was like paper, the ground is usually quite marshy and it’s now very dry.
Then we saw a really tall tree!
When we came back I did my maths sums and read Old MacDonald, I’m reading the same little story each day to get a little quicker at my reading.
A walk/run outdoors is a brilliant way to do wake up shake up on a nice morning. Good job on the reading, that will help your fluency lots.

I like the idea of taking chalk on a walk Reece. I think that white stuff is from when the ground was flooded. Keep going with the reading – well done.
Wow! That’s a huge tree Reece! Look how much taller it is than all the other trees. You can spot lots of interesting things when you look up while out and about. Good find!
