We made rain gauges and we put them outside with P1s. I worked with Benji. We waited for rain but it is sunny today.

My Weekend On My MTB

On Saturday I made an MTB jump, it was made out wood and sand, the jump was down at the horse stables. Before I jumped it, I rolled over it to make sure it wouldn’t fall apart. Once I jumped it, I felt it was too small. So, I made it bigger. Then Beth my sister came and made her own smaller jump because.

 On Sunday I went over too Daniel’s house so we could go to Heath Hall Forest. Once we got mine and Daniel’s bikes on the rack we went. In the forest we went to an area that had lots of jumps one of which was a gap jump. The jump was quite big and long. At first, I was quite scared to jump it, but I went for it! I landed perfectly and even whipped it. Would you hit the jump? After we hit it a couple times Daniel said I could make a massive gap jump that even he couldn’t do but I fell for is prank and hit. I went flying and didn’t make it and fell off! Luckily I was okay and Daniel got his karma on the road jump. The road jump was a jump that was at the edge of a walking path. To hit the jump, you must go down a big hill to gain speed. We were trying to clear the path until Daniels derailer staped because he overshot it. I landed perfectly and I was fine sadly we had to go back because Daniel couldn’t ride his bike anymore. The good thing was he got his karma.

 We went back to Daniel’s house to watch the Celtic Vs Ranger’s game. Who do you rather? We watched the game in the kitchen while eating our lunch. Me and Daniel had a cheese and chicken panini with soup. The panini was very good the soup wasn’t the best. The game ended 2:2 That was the best thing that could happen for Hearts because they’re at the top of the table.

 After I got home me and Brody went to the beach woods in Holywood village. The woods has lots of nuts on the floor. It has three jumps in it. One of them is just a tree stump but is good for a jump.

 Owen    

On my weekend, I played Minecraft and among us happily in the morning, I had fun during most of the time. Me and my family stayed at home for a while.
Then we went to my ponies, they were good as most of the time, but sometimes they can be a bit naughty. We gave one of my smelly ponies a bath because we have a show this weekend. We stayed down the field for a while, we mucked the ponies out and gave them water, my 2 ponies were play fighting and being silly. It was funny to watch.  I fed our pigs and we had an arena hire at 4 pm, the arena hire is in walking distance, the arena hire was 1 hour long.

 My weekend was relatively similar for Saturday and Sunday, but on Sunday I went to an indoor car boot sale in the town. After that I went home and happily played Minecraft and among us just like I did in the morning.

 

On the weekend I happily went shopping  with my dad. My dad lost his wallet! But he found it in the van. Then we walked into B&m as we walked round, we saw lots of cool things! Then we walked to the toy isle, and I saw a lot of cool slime kits. My dad bought me one and I was happy and said thank you. Next, we went to the tills, then left. Next, we went to Food Warehouse, we bought a lot of chicken, it was busy. All we went in for was stuff for the freezer. So, after we got stuff, we paid and left. As we left, I tripped but I was ok. Then we got home I played with my slime. Shockingly I dropped my slime on my cover, but I put it in the wash and made more slime!

On my weekend, I laid in bed playing Roblox, I also done nothing exciting. My mums’ friends came over and one of them had a dog called Pablo. I went to the beach with my mums’ friends. My mum had 3 friends come over. Happily, we had lunch at the Steamboat Inn, Nancy wasn’t there, she was in town with her friends.

 Every night I went with my dad to his house. When I was at my mums I played with Sunny on the PlayStation, excitingly we played Roblox, for the whole time. We played Jujutsu Shenanigans for most of the time we played Roblox. I also played some Fortnite.

 On the Saturday we had a Chinese for dinner. We got chow mein, chicken chow mein, chicken satay, rice, chicken balls, prawn crackers and sweet and sour sauce. We also had chips. I had everything except for the normal chow mein. It tasted very nice. After that I went to bed.

My Weekend MTBing

On Sunday I Quickly picked up Owen from his house. We attached his bike to the bike rack on the back of the car. Todd hopped in the car and sat on my dad’s seat. Thankfully Owen came round and picked him up, off the seat and on to the floor. Then we drove all the way to Heath hall.

My dad got all the bikes of the rack and got Cookie out the car. Me Liam and Owen cycled to the quarry, were all the jumps are. My dad is walking Cookie. We went down the hill and, one of the jumps had been turned into a massive gap jump. I was scared to hit it at first, but I got the courage to. I cycled up to fast and overshot it, mid-air I looked over and seen Owens bike, its quit orange, then I landed! Oh did it hurt! My legs had been scrapped. After that we tried to find the right distends to hit it from. Surprisingly if you just role down the hill you hit it perfectly.

Liam got bored and started taking videos of me and Owen hitting the big gap jump. It turns out he’s not the best photographer. He also done one were he lied in the jump and videoed us jumping over him.

Finally just before we left I showed Owen the road gap. The road gap is, you go down a big hill then hit a jump what sends you over a path. I went down first and sadly when I landed… My derailleur snapped off! After that I had to walk a long way pushing my bike to the car. What would you do in that situation?

On Sunday I went to glen tress on my fantastic green bike. First me and my dad went to Greggs. I got a link and Omelette roll, It was amazing! Then we drove all the way to glen tress.

When we got there, I saw marks, very blue and bouncy, nuke proof mega. I got my bike, which is a specialized, out of the car.

 First mark took some air out of my tires. Then he showed us the taster trails. We warmed up on the blue, but it was too easy. So we did the red. The first time I did it I fell on one of the berms. The second time I made it the whole way down. We kept doing the red route until we found skills park, I worked on my drops and my jumps.

Then we went to the café to get some food I got, a very scrumptious brownie. We headed to the central trail head to start our climb up to Twitcher. On the climb we saw a few groups of riders heading up to the black route. Once we made it we dropped our bikes and mark showed us the bits where we would need to slow down. While mark was showing us his dog sol kept piling sticks on my bike.

Next we dropped in it was insane there was massive jumps and berms everywhere! Would you do it? After we got to the bottom, we did another small climb to get to smells like tweed spirit. It was even better! The trail was basically the same, but it was a lot less bumpy. Then We went back to the café to get some drippy cheesy chips and a can of Vimto. Once we got home I had a raspberry swirl mini roll and a Lindt chocolate.

RAIN GAUGES WITH P1s 

On Monday for topic we made  rain gauges with P1.

First we had to get a bottle and cut it.

Then we got a bit of masking tape and wrote numbers on it.             

After  that  we went out side to put pebbles in it.

Finally cellotape the top of the bottle to the botem.
