We have made bags to carry a cucumber, an apple, an orange and a kiwi fruit.

We had to make a strong bag with a handle.

Paper can be made strong by folding or rolling it!

 

We are going to be talking about wind socks. Do you know what a wind sock is …

A wind sock is something that tell you what the direction the wind is going.

we were partners with the P1s so we can help them.

Elsie was working with Noi and Zara was working with Anya.

We tested them outside with our partners to see what way the wind is going.

When Elsie and Noi were testing the wind sock it went one way and when we were on the hill it went a different way. 

How to make them …  

First you need coloured card and tissue paper and scissors . You need to stick on the tissue paper on the coloured card and roll the card in to a cylinder shape and add string on.

Last Monday we made wind socks.

First  we  cut tissue  paper.

Then we stuck the tissue paper on to a bit of card.

After that we stuck the card together.

Finally we stuck string on it.

Last  Monday we   made  a   wind  sock. First we got card. Next we  put our names.  We sellotaped it together .Then we  put  paper strips on.  Then    we put the string on . Finally we  tested them. By for now  .

Aliyah, Hi today i will tell you how to make a wind socks.First we need some card.Next we need some tissue paper.Then we put it up a tree.the wind sock my wind sock flew. The wind was strong and it was a cloudy day.

Last Munday we made wind socks with the p1s. We made them out of card  and crepe  paper. When we took them outside. They went wild . They was more wind up a tree. The wind didn’t blow as hard in a den. Then yestderday Miss Clues was sick so the whole school came together and done a story about the egg family. Mine was about them going to space. Last Monday we  made  wind socks with the p/1 .First we got a peas of card and rolled it up. Next we cut a bits of  tissue paper and stuck it on. Finally tested them. Mine blew out my hands. Then  we asked questions .

We had to get strips of paper and a piece of card.

We had to make a tube with the card.

Then we Stick the strips of paper on the bottom of the tube.

For the finishing touch some string for the handle.

 

Last Monday we were making wind socks with the p1. We made them out of coloured paper and we got some tape . We also  made it out of crepe paper for the wind to blow on.

Then we went out side and  held them so we  could see them blow! We ran up the hill and Aubray climbed up the tree. Then we went up the tree house . It was very windy up in the  tree house. Me and Noi  and bobby  were running down the hills. It was so fun, so so fun!!!!

writing                  We  are doing egg writing .We   were doing writing with the whole school. We made little books . We got to pick what the eggs were doing. My group were writing that the eggs were going to a horse show!We had so much fun doing writing.

After that we got a big play after we did the little writing

books!That  was the best day ever!
