HI IT’S DAISIE HERE , TODAY I’M GOING TO BE TALKING ABOUT BIG THURSDAY LAST WEEK.  LAST WEEK WASN’T THE SAME AS USUAL. I DON’T KNOW WHY. USUALLY WE WOULD HAVE MISS MC CASKIE FIRST BUT INSTEAD WE HAD MRS JARDINE. THE ORDER WENT MRS JARDINE ,  MRS MCNAY , MRS MURRAY AND THEN MISS MC CASKIE. WITH MRS JARDINE WE WERE DRAWING SCOTTISH THINGS SUCH AS , IRn BRu , CARAMEL WAFER AND TEA CAKES.

Hi this week in maths we have been learning about fractions.In fractions I have made a fraction doughnut with Harry. We started with lots of small doughnuts, then 2 bigger ones, then 1 really big one! It was easier when you had to make less doughnuts.

 

In Literacy we have been learning about punctuation. We have had to rewrite a story. We had to put in an apostrophe, exclamation mark, question mark and capital letters and full stops. I met the targets every time .     Today we continued from a story starter about a man who stole knowledge from books.

when we started we look at photo’s on each table’s and we moved to each table to see every extreme weathers. 

we watch a clip on weather and there was tornado,hurricane,flood,blizzard,fork lightning,heatwave.

we worked out what weathers are extreme and what weathers are normal. by Elsie and Amy

we have been working on Extreme weather like

• Flood
• Blizzard

Floods are cost of to much rain.

blizzards are big  snow  storm (it code freeze your car)

Isla and Isla

Hi today we are talking about extreme weather.

Some of the types are tornado,hurricane,flood ,blizzard ,lightning , drought and heat wave.

In class we did a thing to sort if they were normal and extreme .

And we looked at pictures and described them.

 

we watched a video and it told us informashin about all the differint tipes.

it was very fun.

We do spelling workout in the morning .                                                                                     We were writing about a fairground- 73% got our targets on  Monday.

On  big Thursday  we do stem. We make stuff like bridges and we work in groups !

We  also   do computer science. It  was  fun! Then we do PE .

In PE we did yoga and we move slowly.  On big Thursday we do art. In art we

are weren’t allowed to look at the pees of paper . Finally we go home!

A short toke of  the week end. On the week end i went horse riding i did a very fast trot   Beth. It was so fun!  I  did gymnastics . I did a cartwheel. It was amazing! Mabel
