Week in the Woods at Holywood

On Monday, we made Neolithic spear throwers. Anneliese made the first fully working spear throwing ever at Holywood.

On Tuesday, we made ham and pineapple quesadillas. They were good and delicious.

On Wednesday, we played King of the Hill. You have to get to the king on the hill by being sneaky and hiding when they turn around. When they look away you can move forward. Anya won a game.

On Thursday, we did a scavenger hunt and we had to find 3 rocks that weighed exactly 50g. We had sticks that were 1m long.

On Friday, we crossed a burn on a rope bridge and build some shelters.

We camped out on Thursday night and Aubray had a S’more with her grans.

Gala Day Success!

Unbelievable!  And so generous!

You baked…

You donated prizes…

Then you turned in and brought your pocket money to buy them all back!

Pupils raised over £600 for school funds at Gala Day last Friday.

Parent Council raised over £300 on their Tombola.

That is an incredible amount of support from the school and wider community – we want to say thank you!

Thank you,

Miss Dale
