Hey Mrs jardine we miss you. P4/5 have been up to so much lately without you sadly but today we made rock cakes but we have not eating them yet. and in my group to make rock cakes it was me Rune and Thomas were in a group and are doe turned out really good but Claudia’s and Carlay looked like popcorn. Halloween day: Halloween day was really fun because we got to make chocolate apples with mrs mcnay  and they were really good and we got to make sock pumpkins and they are really cute.

I will be telling you about my book.

My book is called Mistletoe and Murder it is such a good book.

About my book….                                                                                                                                     It is about a girl called Daisie Wells   who visited a hotel for a week but she lives with her dad. She has a best friend called Hazel Wong and together they solve murder mysteries.

Dear Mrs Jardine I am going to tell you about what our school have been up to while you have been away .

“Hello Mrs Jardine before the October holidays we done photography with Mrs  .M and Mr .W it was very fun we took photos in the woodland next to the village and  the school playground and we made collages with photos we took  and everybody’s tuned out grate .I enjoyed it a lot it was very fun I would love to do it again  .

Dear Mrs Jardine,

I’m going to tell you about my learning. We have been doing food technology for our topic and it is really fun. We have cooked nachos and made salsa and grated cheese to put our nachos in the oven. Then we wrote a recipe of what we done and then designed a front cover for our recipe book to put all of our recipes in and to use at home. This week we have been learning about the journey of food and what processes it has gone through to get to our local supermarket and on to our plate. The website we used was called food a fact of life. I can’t wait for you to come back so that I can tell you even more about my learning. I will update you more about school next week.

Hi Mrs Jardine, I am going to tell you about the book i am reading called the perfect hamburger which is about a boy called joe who loves hamburgers. There is a van that sells hamburgers on his street and he and the man from the van go to a place where they make AMAZING hamburgers and he learns how to make them with the van person!
