Our learning. On Friday the 17th it was my birthday and i am now 11 but Mr Mundell came to Holywood primary to tell us all about the MSP and the Scottish Parliament. We asked Mr Mundell some questions and then he asked us some questions all about our school! But tomorrow we are going to north west to do cooking i think and tomorrow night i am going to Wallace hall to see what it is like because next year we will be going to high school and if you cant tell l am going to Wallace hall and also my brother goes there and just now he is an S3. In maths we are doing 3D shapes for the Holywood Christmas tree. But our school show this year is Aladdin trouble and we did auditions on Friday after break l was going to audition for king but we ran out of time but miss dale has gave some parts out but i think l am the king because l am the only one who auditioned for him but l hope the show goes well!!! l hope you enjoyed this blog. Our class has been learning about Parliament and Mps. We have learned that people in power or the council decide rules  and decides what needs to be changed or done. We then had a meeting with him on Friday and we asked him questions about potholes and what he does. He says he loves his job. and he told us that he likes meeting people. I have also done some research on potholes and how they come so  gets old and then water gets inside the tarr and breaks it apart. I found out that potholes are a big problem in UK mostly Scotland because how bad the roads are here.

Oliver Mundell came in to Holywood school on Friday 17th November.  We asked him some questions about his job.  He has been an MSP for 7 years.  He represents Dumfriesshire and he likes helping people.  I enjoyed his visit and we got stickers and his autograph.

On Tuesday we did Health class, with our health teacher, we did P.E activities and made games our self’s! me, Abigail, kye, it was a board running game, you have to run and we throw beanbags at you and if you get hit you go back the start

and start over again, if you don’t get hit you must get your partner into a wheelbarrow and run to the end without getting hit by beanbags, and reach kye at the end to win.

Friday! we did normal classes, did big read, we had big playground break!, at the end of the day, we got our parts for the Aladdin show!
it was so fun!

HI its Rory and im going to be talking about what we did for the past 3 weeks.

for 3 weeks we had been doing a leader ship thing with a teacher called Mrs Jarden. so basically the first week we done a thing where we learnt how to make playing p.e games outside fun so stuff like a boundary and stuff like that we also made games like me and Jullien made hulk tag where what you do is when you get tagged you have to act all strong until someone comes up to you and gives you the antidote. The week after we created games for the little ones. Mine Niamhs and Julliens game was capture the flag dodge ball so its just capture the flag but when you get tagged you go to the side and throw dodge balls at the people that are still in and then the last week we played the games with the little ones (personally didn’t have fun on that last week)

Hi its Jullien and I am going to tell about a leadership thing we did with a teacher (Mrs Jardine) for 3 weeks on Tuesday afternoon. The first week we just played some games. Rory and me made something called “Hulk tag” and it is where you get ‘it’ then you have to become all big and strong. You can get cured by another person tapping you on your shoulder. The next time we did it we created another game and got a little book where we explained the game. Me Rory and Niamh made a game like capture the flag but if you got ‘it’ you needed to throw soft red balls at the side and if you got hit by a ball you also needed to throw balls. We kind of played it with p7 but we didn’t really have enough people to play. The next week we did it with P1-3 so then we did have enough kids so we played the games and that is it bye:) 

We started with P:E which was circlets she also told us we are watching the Netherland Vs Lithuania  and I am really exited to go. And that some one is going to teach us floorball.

Now after break we are doing sinning we started with a diafram worm up and then went on to are school play songs and are school play is Aladdin Trouble and I got the part of Abanazar.

After lunch it is Science we did I a hunt for litter cards. Then we went inside and designed are water wheels.

Finally drama ,we just practised our parts and we all gave people a bit of advice.
