A geologist named David came in to school last week to talk about his job as a geologist. We learned about the oil rigs on the North Sea and how to harvest oil. He talked about the different rocks used to get the oil out  of the sea. He also looks for fossils and he brought in a HUGE mosasaurus skull. The teeth were MASSIVE and we found out it was JUST A BABY!!!!!!

We also talked about crystals. There was a big chunk of amethyst and loads of other crystals. Like quartz, adventurine, tiger’s eye and many more! It was really fascinating to learn about crystals, rocks, oil and fossils.

Hiii! Rhonas back AGAIN (wont be for long tho, highschool and allllll :() so pretty recently a GEOLOGIST came in and said stuff about rocks and dinosaursssss it was pretty good as welll. C: We saw this like…. big mosasaurus skeleton and BAH google a pic of one they are SCARY FISH.

Hello.

On Friday a geologist named David came in to talk to us about what he does for a living. He works on oil rigs and has a 12 hour shift figuring out which minerals have oil in them and which don’t. Afterwards, David told us about how oil is made, and showed us a few pictures relating to a few periods before the Jurassic. Later, we had big read and some classes were called in to look at the minerals he brought in, along with………..

 

A MOSOSAUR SKULL!!! A baby one at least. It was super cool, and he also had sets of teeth along with it! Coolest Friday that I can remember.

1. See if your room is tidy It is always a good idea to stay hygienic and tidy so you know were all of your important stuff is. you should keep all of your different stuff in different areas in your room to create more space.

2. Its always a good idea to go outside and play this really helps your mental state and your social interactions it can also help your breathing going out with your friends.

3. When your done and you have wasted all of your energy you should go inside and play some video games. remember you shouldn’t  play for to long.

4. You should get some snacks or your dinner its very good to eat and helps your metabolism and your guts

5. if you do not have any plans you should spend time with your family

its always good to spend time with your mum dad or even grandparents.

6.  Take a shower because its hygienic and good for your skin especially after a long day out.

7.Finish any homework this will help you with your brain power and help any stress in school.

8. Enjoy the rest of your day its good to get the most out of it.

9. Get your pyjamas on and get ready to go to bed maybe watch a movie before bed time

10. go to bed and get some rest.

1. You must have a pancake day it is always nice to make them except if you get a burnt one.
2. Must go on the water slid on your belly through a float (be careful).
3. A week in the woods that fun and i love looking at all the insects i find.
4.   Camping where your parents come you set up the tent then you all go to sleep.
5. Bike breakfast where you cycle and then get a  sausage roll.
6.  Jump of muddy trees in to swaps in a bright pink jacket and turn it brown.
7.  More competition then just  cross country and football.
8.   Residential where we all get to have a sleepover somewhere new.
9.   Have a after school club (mine would be gymnastics for any age)
10. Most importantly enjoy yourself and make memorise.

1: Spend more time with if they aren’t in P7 yet, (If they are P5, P6, P4,)

2: Make the most fun out of that day, Enjoy your final few day’s

3:Complete older exams (Like that 1 maths exam one you missed because you got too busy sleeping)

4: Get fitter, stronger, faster

5: Bake some snacks (Such as: cakes, fruit kebabs , Chocolate cakes!)

6: Slide down a wet, soapy slide!

7: Go camping

8: Bake pie’s!

9: Learn to cook food

10: Sports day
