Our learning

Reverend Janice came and told us about Easter. It was when Jesus got crucified  and arose from the tomb. The reverend used 3 eggs each representing a different thing. The first egg was representing the empty tomb. The second all the broken and messy pieces of our lives and the third egg representing that we need to celebrate.

Hi it’s  Erin with…….. Skye! 😀

and today, we will tell you about…

reverend Janice’s assembly!!

She showed up pictures of games like connect 4, frustration and snakes and ladders! Then she got us to explain them and we put our hands up if we have played them before. We also learnt about Easter. Jesus died on Easter and became alive again.he was nailed to the cross. He was buried in a tomb shaped like an Easter egg, because tombs looked like Easter eggs back then. We are  both not religious in any way just saying 🙂

We also got to put our hand up if we new the board game and she would pick some one to ex-plane the game that was fun.

Then we put our hand up to do the Easter egg and in 1 there was nothing second one there was bits of cracked egg and on the third one the was a lot of celebration sweets.

Assembly!!!

This assembly was about Easter, and how Jesus died. I enjoyed it and so did my best friend, we liked it because it was factual ,it had chocolate in it. It was a whole school assembly with 2 songs ,one about Jesus death. One  was also about Easter eggs and how we roll them down the hill. There were moves to the songs you were either touching a body part like your hands or your tummy sometimes we waved our hands in the air while we sang the songs. They were very catchy so we got the hang of it quickly.

That’s all  bye bye!!!!!!

reverend Janice assembly

Hi its Rory and Jullien and we are going to talk about the assemble reverend Janice. So at the start we began by telling what the names of the board games on the screen were called then there was Cluedo and we had to figure out who killed Jesus.

Then we opened Easter eggs but there was nothing in them except for the last one that had celebrations in it.

Then we sang a few songs about god and Easter.

REVEREND JANICE COMES TO HOLYWOOD

Today the whole school had an assembly with reverend Janice about Easter. she taught us about how Jesus died on the cross. We sung songs about Jesus and Easter. one of the songs was about rolling eggs down hills. The other song was about Jesus being dead but alive in everyone. She got people go come up to the front and open Easter eggs. One was empty the next had shards of chocolate the other had sweets inside. This was to represent all of our mistakes.

That is all from us for a now

BYE.

All about Jesus!!

In our school assembly we had reverend Janice come to the school. We sang Easter songs which is also about Jesus. We opened three Easter egg and one had nothing in it to represent the tomb stone that Jesus was in. One had broken chocolate to represent how mixed up and broken people are. Easter Assembly

So today Reverend Janice came in and showed us a PowerPoint about Easter. First, we were asked how to play some board games and if we had played them, then we were asked about Cluedo, and the Reverend got all in depth about who killed Jesus, some of the suspects were Judas, and I forgot the rest. Then we opened some Easter eggs that represented the stages of Jesus’ death. After that, we sang some songs about Easter.

This was Caspian and Daniel by the way. 😀
