first we done online safety we had to wright apps to a to z. then we were doing a tik tok about online safety. then we went to safety power thing that was fun we were going like spot the danger of electricity. and learned how to deal with unconscious body we had to look around for objects dangers then we had to lift her leg then place it down. Then we did opining Walter safety. then we did remodels after lunch after that we had to do a quiz.

today all of he P7s went to DG1 for operation safety we went there on a bus. Their was 6 sets / classes to go to.

The first set we went to was internet safety things like don’t share your personal information online and don’t post anything if you are underage also keep you account on private.

Then the second set was about electricity and how dangerous it is and what it passes through.

The third set was learning the recovery position and A B C airway, breathing  and circulation/pulse.

The forth one before lunch was all about water safety shout throw reach go. Is what your supposed to do if someone is stuck in a river, loch and ocean.

Then it was lunch.

The second last one all about youth and yourself you had to pick a role model  and write 3/5 reasons why they are your role model.

The last one was about bonfire safety and what you can and cant put in a bonfire.

Then there was a a quiz before we went back to school at 2:00 I really enjoyed it.

Hi there. It’s me, Caspian. Today we went to DG1 activity centre to take part in Operation Safety, which teaches us how to stay safe, or keep others safe in emergencies. We had six sets. The first one our group went to was internet safety. We used a pre-made account to make a TikTok about how to stay safe on a certain website. Before that, we made an A-Z of websites and games.

Afterwards, we went into electrical safety. We learnt how circuits work, and how to stay safe near exposed wires.

Then we had to help a body get ready for the ambulance after it had fallen from a chair. We learnt what ABC stands for, and how to do the recovery position.

After that, we went into water safety. We found out what the rings and poles next to rivers and lakes are for, and we learnt what to do if someone falls in to the water.

Then we had lunch. I needed more cocktail sausages.

Then we went into the Youthworker’s set. We had to write down who our role model is, and then we had to write things we like to do, things we are good at, things we like about ourselves, and who we can talk to if we’re worried.

Then we went into fire safety. We learnt that if you throw a live firework, you will be fined for £5000. Then we played a game where we threw a thingymabob at what we think is good to put on a bonfire or not.

Then there was the big quiz. We should have chosen other people for ours, because we got ZERO points, thanks to Payton and Ori.

Anyway, it was fun!

First we did  art (Pop art) we drew Dotty people and then coloured them in.

Then we did drama. We did deadly handshake  to warm up. Then we did a story about the a war between Greece and creet and then about about feeius

After That We Did Outdoor Learning We made Catapults out of sticks and rope after that and we catapulted pine cones,sticks,rocks,old leafs

After outdoor learning we did P.E we did Exhaustion tag where everyone is it and try to get each other,after that we did catching where everyone has a partner and they get a tennis ball and they throw it to there partner and they throw it back

hello! it is Rory and today im telling you all about BIG Thursday in holy wood (obviously).

on big Thursday we have

Miss Pattie for art. in art we have been doing Roy Lichtensteins art style where you draw a big close up of someones face and to colour them in you put a bunch of little dots.

 

we have Miss stapleton in drama and we have been doing the story of Theseus and the labyrinth. we play a game called shaky murder i think and its really fun so what you do is you get a card with a circle on it BUT one card has an x and if you get the x that means your the murderer so basically everyone walks around and shakes peoples hands and if the murderer rubs your hand with their thumb while shaking your hand you have to shake 2 more peoples hand then your dead.

then we do outdoor learning with Miss mcnay this is not my favourite subject because i find it kinda hard but what we have been doing is practicing tieing and we made a catapult and a dream catcher

 

and last we have p.e with Miss Jarden i enjoy pe we do stuff like throwing and catching and striking with a bat my favourite game to play in p.e is rounders i absolutely love it.

Hi thank you for all the parents that helped are school be tiedy for once.

Now on to big thursday. First we had  art we did a dotting style of art and we finished are pop art words. Then we had drama. We learned a game called deadly handshake. It was where you shake hands and if someone tickles you you shake two others people hands then you died.But that is a warm up the real class is action a story called thuse and the minotaur a greece myths.Then it was outdoor learning we are learning tying and knots we are making catapults. Then last is p.e we are learning team games we had to push a tryer up the big hill and roll it down.

on big Thursday our class has art what we done was pop art . Then we had drama what we did is we did a news about  on our story we got to learn about it. after lunch we had outdoor learning and we did sling shots and ours did not go far bur it was really fun to learn how to tie and take part  . Then we had P.E what we did was we worked on our under arm throwing and our over arm throwing and we did it games then rounders we got split up into groups one was fielding and the other was batting our team was fielding firs and then we switched  to batting and then after that it was home                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      By gabriella

We do art first and we are doing pop art I liked when I had to draw a word and colour it. I did Boo!  This week we were making pop art portraits.

In drama we were learning about Theseus and the Minotaur – we had to news interviews and perform it.

On big Thursday mad   a cube  to shot at people Abigale and Erin and Jullien we all done team work me and Erin work together  and Abigail and Jullien work together and then it was drama me and Skye and Daniel were in a group and then we done PE. In PE we done capture the flag  and bat and ball then we done pop art it was so much fun.
