Disraeli

So… Guess what!

While I was casually eating my chicken goujons, watching TV.. Mark calls and we suddenly have a probably orphaned/abandoned fox cub on the dog walking route beside the church!

We took it in with a cat basket and a blanket. It didn’t seem to have anything wrong with it, and looked about 9 weeks old. Mum called the vets who directed us to the SSPCA. In the meantime, we had some toast and Jaffa Cakes, I read some haiku(s?) and Mum named the fox.

She decided to name it Disraeli, as a compliment and a criticism, she is too loving towards animals. Of course that is a good thing, but can be a bad thing if you get too close to an animal.

When the SSPCA came, we took about 15 minutes trying to get Disraeli into the other basket. Eventually, we let it go in the basket we had, along with the blanket.

We all felt incredibly sad as Disraeli went, but at least I saw a fox up close and personal for the first time!

Also here is a picture:

This was honestly quite the adventure.
