All About my Learning

Today we were learning how to put up tents. We are going to be sleeping in them when we go on residential.

It was easy to put the tent up – you simply pop the poles together and arch them into corner pockets then you clip the bedroom onto the poles.

It was more difficult to put the tent down – it involves lots of folding and rolling. I had trouble rolling the tent up tightly – it was a disaster.

But I got it in the end and I didn’t cry, shout or fall out with anyone. A success!!

Setting up tents :D

Today we (P5-7) were setting up tents in the hall in groups of three for Residential!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We unfolded the tents and put the poles together. Then we put the poles in little pockets at the bottom of the tent, and clipped the inner tent to them. Then we put the outer layer on top. Afterwards we took the tents down and rolled them up. All the tents were put up and down and at the end we posted blogs… we’re going for residential on the 30th of May to the 1st of June 😀 !!!!!!!!
