Today I made a cover for a magazine called Minecraft’s wilderness and yes, that name is terrible because I only had like 1 minute to come up with it. Anyway as you might have already guessed it’s about Minecraft’s wilderness. You know that’s what it’s called. Anyway here is a picture of it.

I actually think that the title of the magazine is really good because when you are looking at rows and rows of shelves of magazines you want to know at a glance what each one is about so that you can find it quickly – so your title is appropriate. You have great drawings, which are also appropriate. Your lettering is lovely and neat, however I found it hard to see the title from a distance – perhaps a bright or dark colour would stand out? How about making the lettering quite boxy, or have your lovely smooth lettering inside a cube, to give another clue that it is about Minecraft? I like how you have put the rest of the writing sections into their own spaces. Thanks for sharing on the blog.
I like the title of your magazine, Hannah, although the cover does need more colour and the title needs to really stand out – I’m sure you can do this quite easily.
Hi Hannah, your title is perfect! It tells you exactly what the magazine is about. I really like your illustrations – they are neat and the colours are eye catching. If you want to make your magazine stand out more you could colour your letters and maybe outline them or turn them into 3D lettering. Great work.
