Hi there. Caspian here.
Today I lost my upper right molar and if I’m on my best behaviour I might get Robux for it! I really like losing teeth. Except from the first time I did. So basically, at 5 years old, I was in a bad mood and I bit the zip on my coat. I was in agony! But, we went to the Penrith NHS and they gave me…(pause for effect)…a big cotton wool pad. I had to use it for the next day and a half, I couldn’t even eat mini cheddars! What torture is that?! Anyhoo, the next day around lunchtime I went to the dentist who took out the teeth. One was twisted and the other was bent back. I think that’s where Mum gets her fear of wobbly teeth from. Ooer. Then around 1pm I went back to school and ate like a boar. Well, I was starved from mini cheddars for a day and a half, so it is believable.
I had better mention my schoolwork for the day! I worked on apostrophes with Mr Laidlaw when he called. I was going to colour in the French toucan but Tanith beat me to it. She clearly enjoyed doing her toucan yesterday so she stole my thunder! Toucan play at that game!!! The mystery number is 128719. The planets are Earth, Uranus, Venus and Mercury.
I have started my Bad Broonie graphic novel but it is not finished yet. I also wrote a summary about the Arctic.
How Will the Arctic Nature Cope With Climate Change
Most pf the Arctic will be affected by climate change. For starters, polar bear dens will be melted down and some animals rely on the cold for cover and food. The new temperatures could affect the Inuit tribes. The cold affects how they sleep because they might sleep next to a radiator and if they keep up that habit, they could burn down their houses.
I hope you have all had a good day. I’m going to go out on a limb here and be Tanith because I have ran out of languages for my outros so…smile every day and be happy.
I can imagine you would eat like a boar after just nibbling mini cheddars Caspian! Glad this tooth loss was less traumatic for you.
Well done with the mystery number, but could you have a look at the planets again, some of them aren’t correct.
Hi Caspian, you are right about the ways climate change will affect the animals, their ice habitats are melting, so it can be harder for them to find dens. Polar bears find hunting seals harder because the ice is getting thinner. In terms of how it will affect the people of the Arctic, a lot of the changes are to do with the animals. For example, polar bears are coming closer to human settlements (towns) to find food. This means humans are having to find ways to live with the polar bears. You may have noticed in the information about schools in the Arctic that the teachers carry guns when they do learning outdoors, in case they meet a polar bear.
The melting ice will also bring more fresh water into the sea and affect the currents bringing fish. This may affect the humans as fish is a food source for them.
Very glad your tooth came out without any bother, Caspian. Thanks for sharing your story about the first tooth you lost – you are a fantastic storyteller, which is great for National Storytelling Week!
