The monarch song

I’ve been learning-or trying to Learn at least- horrible history’s monarch song and the tricky part is the chorus it goes like this:

William, William, Henry, Stephen
Henry, Richard, John, oi!
Henry, Ed, Ed, Ed, Rich two
Then three more Henrys join our song
Edward, Edward, Rich the third
Henry, Henry, Ed again
Mary one, good Queen Bess
Jimmy, Charles and Charles and then
Jim, Will, Mary, Anna Gloria
George, George, George, George
Will, Victoria

Victoria,Victoria,Victoria!

yea it’s long init. I hope that you can figure it out and if you can why don’t you post your attempt on the blog! I sure will!

fun fact: Did you know William the conqueror was actually from France? 🇫🇷
I hope you enjoy the post it took me way too long to write

  1. I’ve tried to learn that before Hannah! Monarchs always come up in quizzes so I thought it would be a fun challenge, but I must admit I gave up! Maybe I’ll try again and we can see how we both got on when we are back in school.

  2. Then it goes Edward, George, Edward, George VI and Queen Liz II complete the mix. That’s all the English kings and queens since William the first that there have been. We are all big fans of Horrible Histories in our house so we all learnt the song. Glad you like it too Hannah.
