Hey everyone

After 6 months of no french we have started it again! At the moment we’re just doing revision so its not that interesting. Today we’ve  been  doing dates and years.

This week we have been making Christmas decorations for care homes which has been good. Some of the things we’re making mini bauble hats, peg snow men, sock snow men and Christmas paper crafts.

Hi everyone! It’s Cleo. Today I will be talking about Big Thursday and what we have been learning about on Big Thursday. The first subject we learn in the morning is science. In  science we are learning electronics. So far we have learnt the symbols for light bulbs,wires and other things. We have to make different circuits. A very common circuit people do is wire to a battery and another wire to a battery then attach that to a light bulb. When we go out for break and come back in  we have computer science. In computer science we have these lego boxes called Lego We Do. We have to have an app for the lego. On the app it shows you how to build the set you wanna build and when you build it you get to program it on the app. My favourite one was probably Milo. When we finish computer science we move onto art. Art is one of my favourite classes. We’ve learnt many different techniques. My favourite animal we had to draw was probably the Koi fish. After art we move onto P.E. which is our last class of the day. On the first week it was pretty rainy so we had to create some games and make a circuit. The next 2 weeks we did a circuit which included army crawling, running through the willow den and many other fun activities. The other weeks we played some games. On Tuesdays we go to French. We have been revising days of the week and the months.  We have been putting those together  and forming a sentence and saying our birthday dates. At the end we sometimes play a game of bingo or twenty one. We practise our numbers thirty to one hundred. We have learned how to play Simon says in French. Madam Hamilton gets us out really quickly.

In big woodland break we do whittling or sit in a tree with friends and chat, or play among us, manhunt, or in mud. I  mainly sit somewhere nice and quiet and chat with a friend who wanted to come, i either do that or play manhunt and we can go anywhere except from out the boundry witch is to the other path and down where a metal thing is stuck in the ground. The funnest thing to do (in my opinion) is sit and talk with a friend or sit up a tree and talk depends what tree we climb because some trees have only 1 person going up and thats the max, the minimum is 0 because we dont have to climb the tree if we dont wan to.

 

We haven’t did french in 6 month the first time we did french was in Tuesday 1 month ago. the thing we learn   was how to do the months in french and the days.Also the years like 2020 she asked some Question about the date the year and the months. it was  quite  fun and boring at the same time . all the p7 play  bigo it was really fun.

Last Friday we went up the woods and played and maid dens. On a Friday we go up the woods and whittle. Witiling is when you use a knife to carve a peace of wood into something. I like to play man hunt up the woods some peaple go in big swamp area and play in it.

Hellooo everyone, it’s Hannah here to tell you about the Shakespeare dioramas that we have been making for around a week. We started by reading an adapted children’s version of a old Shakespeare play ,I got Romeo and Juliet,then we take the main scene and turn it into a diorama. I chose the scene where Romeo climbs the orchard wall and professes his love to Juliet and then Juliet does the same,it is a very dramatic and beautiful scene I’ll post a picture when it’s done.

At Holywood we have been making Rube Goldberg contraptions. Rube Goldberg made pointless inventions some of them had hamsters , burning wicks and tennis balls just to turn the page on a news paper. Me and my friend are making one that has a marble run ,domino run and a watering can just to fill a cup of water. We’re not allowed to use any source of fire.

On Friday we go up wood and play,  people whittle, some play games  and run around in the wood and climb trees  I whittled last week I  started a knife . It is paper knife .  Lots of other  people  were  making knives too. Mrs Madden is the Holywood  whittle master.

Hi its Olivia here and today i am going to tell you about woodland break.On a Friday we do something called  Woodland break!.Its were we go up  the woods for an hour on Friday  and make dens ,play games and more i have made a den with my friends we play in it all the time Its really fun. Some times I play hide and seek and it with m friends and we climb up trees. We sometimes cook on the fire but thats on week in the woods
