MATHS
In maths we have been doing area and perimeter of shapes like squares , triangles, rectangles and compound shapes . My class is design an out side office for miss S and today i chose my wall paper and carpet and i realy like it so fare . Also i got my mass assessment and i went from 19-29 to 25-29.

hello, Im here to say what we have been doing in maths! The past couple of days we have been doing area and perimeter. We were all told to design a house for an old couple. there was a sheet of requirements that they wanted like the different rooms and they did not want a huge house. we had to design the house and then in each room we would have to find how big the room is. so if one side of the room is 5m and another side is 10m you would then have to times the two numbers together. So then the answer is 50 that would be the area of that room.
Idiotic inventions
Hello in P6-7 we have been making pointless inventions and we some how have to make a pencil go into a sharpener and then sharpen ON ITS OWN. As you can imagine this is a VERY difficult being allowed only one push at the start. The group I am in is having a bit of difficulty with our pointless invention.

big Thursday
When we do big Thursday we do science,Lego wedo,art and P.E. in PE we play a lot of fun games like disco tig, Caterpillar tig, and more. We run round the playground twice every Thursday. In art we have been drawing really cool stuff like the northern lights, Koi fish and chameleons. In science we made our own games it was really fun we used bendy wires. In Lego wedo we make fun projects with the lego its really fun.
Useless contraptions
In class we have been doing useless contraptions that we don’t need at all for our topic.
We have been making most of them with dominos and marbles.
Me and Alexa are making one with dominos marbles and a little toy car to make a pencil draw on a piece of normal paper.
We haven’t finished ours yet but we hope we will be done soon.

Woodland break
At our school we have Big Woodland Break for an hour at the end of every Friday. I was making a bridge out of sticks and logs with my friends across a really big puddle. The bridge is still very unstable, the puddle is up to my knees with mud, just about. Favourite subject. My favourite thing to do is build dens.
Contraptions
In class, we are building contraptions. Ours is just to get a drink of water. It is pointless! We are building them for fun, so at the moment we are in the process of building them and Miss Dale still thinks it is pointless.

Hey everyone and today we are talking about learning at Holywood. On Wednesday we usually do a spelling quiz with only 10 questions but tomorrow, 25/11/2020 is when we do a spelling quiz with 30 questions, so we have added 20 questions the the normal 10. Yesterday 23/11/2020 we did an hour on either our diagramma, pointless contraptions, or our 2 meature tower. Most of the 2 meature tower group came out and thats what i did for the first hour, the next hour i did my pointless contraptions with my partner and a little help from my friend. thats all Oliver
Pointless contraptions
Hi everyone, for the last week or so in class we have been making complicated little contraptions. They do very, very simple things you could just do your self, like turning a page or sharpening a pencil. My pointless contraption poked someone on the back. It’s been a lot of fun doing these machines. These machines were based on Rube Goldberg’s amazing contraptions.
