Mesolithic Scotland

We have learned Mesolithic Scotland about clans, bow and arrows, tools, and more. We were picked in clans to make our shelters in a clans we used natural materials to put on our shelters like wood, leafs, sticks, and stones. We made pendants out of wood and used natural materials for colour we used black berrys, and leafs, here’s some photos of the shelters we made.

Mesolithic Scotland/ the clan meet

for a while we learnt about Mesolithic Scotland and had a big clan meet. the whole school had to be ready for it so all clans got ready by finding the fastest runner and archer and we had to made a drama scene or a dance!.At the clan meet we had a running race and archer competition and we did our drama or dance it was very fun. when we done Mesolithic Scotland we had to make our own dens/shelters and clan pendents

i hope you enjoyed my blog olivia

Clan meet

A couple of weeks ago we were doing our Mesolithic Scotland topic at the end of the topic we did a clan meet and we had to get our clan and one of every clan member was holding the flag over a hill , up a hill and back down around the fire. At the start of clan meet we got our fastest runner from the sandpit around one hill and through the hills of the other hill back to the sand pit then we got one clan person to walk up to the fire, say a sentence and through the paper in then we got our best archers and see who got the furthest.

Mesolithic Scotland!

today the p6 to 7 did a report on Mesolithic Scotland .first we had to pick are topic like hunting, gathing, building, and tools.so me and my partner pick hunting and gathing and predators. Then we had to write down a linking sentencing, then we did the hunting and gathing and predators.so we pick the first one to do it was tools the second we did was hunting and gathing the third one we did was predators.

A polite message…

To the person who hid Daniel and Ella’s shoes,

I understand you might feel embarrassed about what you have done, but could l please ask you to own up and do the right thing as this would save the whole school from taking the blame and having to do a detention tomorrow. Your honesty would be appreciated since we are Team Holywood and we are kind to each other.

Thank you.

Slitheen and Sontarans

Hello everyone, Caspian is back!

I haven’t blogged for a while because we have struggled to get online for a few days. So, what have I been doing? Well, we have foraged for more berries, made more jam and eaten loads more berry puddings! As well as my usual classes, I have a new subject called Business Studies. Mum has offered to give me an interest-free loan so I can start my own online business providing I do my research properly. I have highlighted ten areas of interest and I am mind-mapping them out. After this, Mum is going to show me how I drill down further. Mind mapping is really cool because you can list loads of ideas which connect to a main theme.

I saw Miss Dale a few nights ago and we talked for quite a bit. I heard about the bows and arrows which everyone is making. When it stops raining, we are coming up to school to borrow some willow so we can make some of our own.

I have planned in advance for World Book Day and I know what I want to dress up as… a Dalek! I hope the coronavirus has gone by then. I am worried about all the people getting poorly again and wish it hadn’t happened. I have been helping Tanith with her reading. I let her read my Doctor Who twisted fairytales! We are working on a book together about Leo the owl and Rose the cat. She is writing it, I am illustrating it for her.

I drew some Doctor Who pictures the other night. Tanith really liked them so she drew a Slitheen (the Slitheen home world is Raxacoricafallapatorious) and a Sontaran for me (the Sontarans live on Sontar and are factory-produced clones bred for war).

Ludo has finally been told by the vet that his broken pelvis is the best it can be so he is back to jumping and climbing. His eye is also a lot better. Nessaphina had her fur clipped and looks great, especially as she looks like she is wearing winter boots where her fur is a bit longer.

See you later!

PS I will keep updating you about my business studies. I am really enjoying this project at the moment.
