are topic has been about  Mesolithic Scotland we have been making bows and arrows. everyone in the school made a bow and arrow. we all practice with them we had a bow and arrow shot of to see who could shot the thurest I done rubbish. there was three rounds Abigail won the first round Joe won the second round it was tight but Joe won the third round and Joe won the archery over all.  we also made up are own play in are clan we made Ares bears try to kill us we shot the bears but I was badly hurt .by bruce  

Mesolithic Scotland in school we have been learning about Mesolithic Scotland and it was very fun we  maid life size dens and models  then we maid bows and arrows and practice then we went up the woods and shot targets then came the clan meet .We all gathered together in are clans and done a ruining race . then the archers came and seen how could shot the their theist after that one person from the clan read a letter  in there clan lang wig and put it in the fire and that was that .

Recently in school our topic has been forces. The main three forces are push, pull and twist. We have also been learning about air and water dynamics. We did an experiment were we through a ball of one of the hills and timed it we did the same thing again but with parachute attached to see if it got slower. That all for today.

our current topic in class has been forces and one of the topic based activities has been making parachutes. So with our pot of modeling clay we had to make a ball and he make different sizes of parachutes out of tissue paper. The objective was to throw the ball off of the hill and the parachutes would try to slow it down. My group made a 10cm, 20cm, 30cm and 40cm parachute. They worked but most of the time the parachute would come out of the modeling clay and fly away, but I think this test was successful.

A few weeks ago we started a topic called Mesolithic Scotland. It was really really funnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. But there was still a couple of things that I found boring like going up the woods and some thing about the clan meet. The clan meet was a bit weird because I don’t like having a big audience.(I hate being in front of people doing things)its really embarrassing. sooo here are some of the pictures from the clan meet.

Since we came back to school the whole school has been learning about Mesolithic Scotland.When our topic came to an end we had a big clan meet to finish it off.The clan meet started as the clans where walking up and down the hills like a parade with miss Stapleton drumming.Once the parade finished the clans sat down in a giant circle around a fire we started off with each clan performing a drama scene,dance routine or drumming routine.After that we had some competitions the competition where running and archery.Next we dropped letters we made in the fire for the fire spirits they said things like “give us luck fire god” or “give us warmth in the winter fire gods”.After that we did some other things like chanting and stuff.       By Josie                                                                                                                                       

A couple of weeks ago we had a clan meet  for Mesolithic scotland so we made flags and head dress and walk up the hill and down the hill  and sat down . So the fasts Lind and the wiener got blessing and Bailey won  and we had the best atrshur  and Joe won . We rot  a later  to the fire gods .

A few days ago P5-7 made parachutes out of things like tissue paper, string and sellotape. We then conducted a fair test with a ball of play dough as our weight.

One of the things we have been learning  about is Mesolithic Scotland as a school we where placed in to a clan we made bows and arrows  one for each clan member we also needed to make a head dress that was diffident form other clans . To end the topic we had a clan meet we had a running competition  and a bow and arrow competition .

 

 

 

A couple weeks ago we did a clan meet. All the clans arrived with a parade and then sat around the fire. We had our notes and flags. We started of with our clan dramas or dances. Most of them were about hunting. My clan hadn’t rehearsed so we had to make it up by the minute. I think it was okay. Some of the clans did great dances as well. After that we read out our note and put them into the fire to send to the fire god. W had to just put a bit of paper and make some thing up to say. Then we did the best archer. Some them went really far. I forgot, we did the fastest runner race.
