Today I woke up quite late so I had to get ready quickly. I had to go to my mums work for the day. I was really bored but a few hours in I started doing things. After that I went home and just chilled for a wee while. At about eight o’clock I did the cleaning. Now I’m watching a program. I’ll do my maths and things while watching the program. That’s all for today’s blog bye. By Orla.

Thank you for joining us for JACK Day!
Friday 26th June
All the best in high school, Jack!
J jolly good fellow
A admired by many for his
C caring and
K kind ways, especially with the wee ones on the football pitch.
Jack, thank you for all those times you stopped to make sure Nathan was included in your football games, bringing the ball to him so he could also score a goal, or letting him tackle you . Those were the highlights of his breaks and lunch time play.
And you didn’t stop there; you joined our little circle of P1/2 one Big Choose Friday to show us a new design of making loom bands. The guys loved it! Thank you.
Wish you success in high school. Adios!

Tigers, Lions, and all the Cats in the World
I have been researching big cats today.
- Tigers can eat more than 35kg of meat in one meal.
- Tigers are members of the cat family.
- Like all cats, they can see six times better at night than humans.
- Big cat smell is twenty times better than human smell.
- There are thirty eight species of wild cat on the planet.
- Each species of big cat has a unique coat for camouflage.
- The Bengal tiger is India’s national animal.
- Cheetah’s can accelerate faster than some race cars.
- Pumas are also called cougars, mountain lions and panthers.
- Female lions do most of the hunting.
- Lions sometimes hide their kill in trees.
- Feral cats are mostly black and white.
- Cats have retractable claws.
- I LOVE CATS.
I have also done some wordsearches about ice cream flavours, Disney films, and animals to help me with my spelling.
Also this week, I have done some maths – greater than and smaller than statements, some more reading about Winnie the Witch, and Winnie the Pooh, written some more alliterations, practiced my cursive writing, and watched another How We Used to Live 1936 – 1953.
I wrote a letter to my future self. I will look back at it when all the coronavirus is over and we are all happy and safe again.
Good luck Jack.
Love from Tanith xxx
