Last weak on the 20th of September the whole school went to new Lanark, We got divided in to groups of 2 the first group had p1-3 and the second group was p4-7.

The first task we done was ( Go to the old school )…

At the school there was a ringing a bell, so we followed the bell sounds at the top of the stares there was a man with a bell ringing he shouted ” SILENCE “. After he introduced himself we all went to the classroom… everything was wooden. the teacher told us to go in 2 rows of girls and boys separate when we done that he started telling us that we had to do a warm up the warm up was marching on the spot.Once we done that we went and sat on chairs for the start of the lesson the teacher was very strict about girls and boys because we had to sit at separate sides of the room of them. The first thing he said to us was that we are VERY late… We had to have our feet straight on the ground and arms crossed? There was a slate and chalk for the writing. The teacher told us that we have to copy a cursive hand writing alphabet once we all done that we went ahead and done some normal math.

When the lesson was done we done a timed dance with the person standing in front of us.

on Friday the 20th. We went to newlanerk all day we had the exspearince of Victorian time school it was fun. He shouted al lot then we went on the Annie mcloud ride then we went to have launch after we got to play at the park. Later we went in to the workers corteges. Then we went into the shop I bot a slinky and two packets of skittle.

At new was fun at new Lanark and we did work at new Lanark/ at a class a gay tech us to do a afbelat in a class and we got to march in the class and was fun in the class satad in the classroom we had to lissing at the teacher in the class.

so we now went to new Lanark. it was very interesting very fun and it was a great trip. the stuff there they have put a lot of work into the building and the ride that was there. all the people that work there are really good at there job and I would definitely go again. I loved the look of it great place, great trip! !

We went to Caelavarock castle. We had to do different tasks. We all got put in different groups, our first task was to wear clothes. They would have been worn back then. We had to get pictures taken of all of our group members wearing the clothes.
Then we went in to the castle and did a task in the castle. We had to find all the parts of the castle and photograph what all the parts like: the kitchen, where they would eat food, where the dungeon was. It was fun! We also got to make a film of a night attack and a day attack on the castle.

hello its Sarah. today I will be talking about history all the history. 1 claelaveroock castle we went to claelaveroock castle it was fun .so we were in groups we had to Mack 2  mine moves. one in day yelling. one at night and silent it was fun. we had to lock for the kitchen and the prison but I had bin be for so I no my way sorry that’s it bay

Hello its Cleo. Today I will be talking about Caerlaverock Castle. So last Friday we went to Caerlaverock Castle! I was really excited and happy when we got there. We were all put in to different groups. I was in Miss. Patty’s group along with Harry, Josie,  Joe,  Freddie, Kohdie and Analies. We had a booklet with many different fun activities! The first activate we had to do was take pictures of the castle from the outside and also get a picture of us standing in front of the castle. We all took turns of the pictures and a lot of the pictures looked lovely. The second task was pick up different objects and look at them carefully. There was different objects for example arrows, cups and spoons. All the different objects looked amazing. I wonder how old they are. The third task was pretend its night time and sneak up on the castle like your about to sneak attack the castle. We also had to do it were its day and we shout CHARGE and charge at the castle much louder than before. Well that’s all for today! Bye! By Cleo

On Friday the 13th of September we went to Caelaverock castle. We went with the whole school. We were split into groups. We had to do six or eight tasks to find out about the castle. The castle was extremely old. I was really scared to go up to the highest point you can go at the castle. There was lots of bird nests to. We had to walk all around the castle to find out lots of facts for our tasks. There was a shed of things so we had to look at that. It was interesting. My favourite bit of the trip was we put the helmet and the thing that goes under it. We went to nine in till twelve. The week before that we went to Elissland farm and that was  really fun to.

Look what landed near Leland’s house yesterday.

A member of the royal family was in town to officially open Moat Brae in Dumfries.

Fantastic! We could have borrowed it for school trips!
