Obugi

We received a photo from our link school at Obugi Primary where pupils are learning about the properties of water. The photo clearly shows some year three pupils working on floating and sinking!!

We will get some photos of todays Big Thursday up on screen as soon as we can to share with our friends in Kenya!

  1. We like to paint pictures  on paper. We like to draw pictures too.
  2. We draw with charcoal.
  3. there is even a club abut it.
  4. sometimes  we get to go into the woods to draw.

the digestive system

1.  The digestive system  looks like a big row of  sausages.

2. The small intestine is longer than the large intestine.

3. the large intestine is thicker than the small intestine.

4. after you swallow your food it gets turned in to smaller pieces.

5. when you swallow your food it goes down your esophagus.

2. you do not want to end up like a bully because the people that get bullied do not deserve it

3. no one should  bully because  it is not a nice thing to do

our experiments

The experiments we have been doing the last copal of days are about THE BODY. they have been very fun lots of mess grossness and FOOD!

all of them are about you going to the toilet. a lot of my friends were saying they where sick. We were learning about the digestive system. and we are doing experiments as I was talking about.

my school topic

in class we are learning about the body, what I learned  about the digestive system…….

1.when you eat your esophagus makes your food go down in to your stomach

2. if your food comes back up it means your sick

3.when you poo that means your stomach want’s to get rid of your food

4.if your poo gets stuck go to a doctor

5.when your pee comes that’s your drink coming out

 

 

Kiva

On Monday we do Kiva. We learn about one thing at a time each lesson. Kiva is exciting and interesting because we learn new things about how bullying affects the victim and also the teachers learn new facts about bullying as well.

We have our own Kiva jotters and at the front there is rules we have written four Kiva lesson rules the rules are We treat everyone with respect ,   Together we will make the class a group that everyone enjoys being a part of ,We do not bully and we’ll fight hidden bullying. There is 10 lessons of Kiva but we have only done 4 lessons lately.

Kiva means to help fight bullying !!!
