Keira’s Control Experiment

We all did an Experiment with cress. We got to choose our Experiment and I chose light and dark. I put 20 seeds on to a paper towel and found a light space near the window to grow my cress. Next I watered it with 25mls of water. On my second paper towel I put another 20 seeds on it. next I watered it with 25mls of water and put it in a nice dark space in the cupboard. now check them in two days and for the results.

PREDICTION: my prediction was that the light Experiment will grow as normal and the dark Experiment will not grow because it has no light.

Experiments with Cress seeds

We have been doing experiments with Cress seeds. we had to choose 4 choices from a carroll diagram I picked fertilizer, a cold place, a light place and a paper towel. I put my paper towel in a fridge because it is cold and its light.

My Method:

Get one paper towel and put 20 seeds on it. Secondly pour 25ml of fertilizer on the seeds. Place the seeds in the fridge.

My prediction is five will grow with leafs.

Logan’s Variable Experiment

On the 12th June 2015 P5-7 are doing variables with Mrs Stewart. I am doing it with cress, or actually we are all doing it with cress. All of us loved it but some people mucked about. The one I am doing is light and dark. I am putting my dark one in a cupboard with the eco stuff in it so when Miss Baxter is back she will enjoy seeing it grow. My prediction is that the dark one might not grow because it is in the dark but the other one will grow because its in the light. this is one variable plants can’t live without.
