IMG_4999

This morning miss Niving was teaching us maths. We played maths jenga We really enjoyed it we also played around the world with miss Queen. We played maths bingo in our maths groups. My favourite was maths Jenga I think everybody enjoyed it. In maths jenga you had to pull out a block with a sum on it be careful not to knock it down. The block had a sum on it and we had to answer the question on it. In around the world you have to sit in a circle and one person had to see if they could get around the world without being taken over. Maths bingo is were you have to write six numbers in a grid and the  bingo caller will shout out sums if you do get all your numbers crossed out you win. After all that we went sledging we timed everyone.

At last we  have got some snow. We have had sledges for a long time waiting for snow to come. Today everybody is wrapped up. Now we have the sledges out and everybody skidding down the hill rapidly. But it has to be freezing. People throwing snow balls and making snow it is BEST day ever !

Badminton Assembly

On the 28th of January I did a assembly on badminton because it was for my school targets and because I went to the Scottish nationals!

We set up a net and we played a game called around the world which someone hits it to you and you have to run around the net if you miss it you go on the other side and try to catch the shuttlecock and if you catch the shuttlecock you will swap with the player in the other side.

I explained why the small racket is smaller than the bigger racket it is because of its easier to hit the shuttlecock for beginners and younger people. I said all the shots like overhand, underhand, drop shot and backhand.
