Keeping Children Safe

We would like to remind you about the NSPCC information session on keeping children safe online which will be held tomorrow, 30th April, from 6.30 until 7.30. Mrs Alexander and PC Irons will deliver an online presentation to raise awareness of what our young people are doing online and how we can help them to keep safe.
Child care is available if required and children should bring a book or game.

Learning About Scotland

It’s lovely to see that you are able to make comments on our blog again. Georgia’s Mum enjoyed seeing the photos of the children making tartan:

“My clever girl”

Olivia’s Mum is also delighted with her learning about Scotland:

What super concentration! We have been really impressed by Olivia’s knowledge of Robbie Burns!! She has loved learning all the Scottish songs and in particular the Highland dancing which she has been teaching her sister! She was very upset to miss the Burns Supper though!:( Hope you all had fun!”

We did enjoy our Burns supper but we missed you Olivia. We will put photos on the blog soon so that you can see everyone. Well done for teaching your little sister the dance moves – she will know how to dance when she is a little older and comes to Nursery.

From a Small Seed …

sunflower

Last term the children planted sunflower seeds and took them home as seedlings, having learned how to care for them to make them grow. Mollie’s Mum has sent us this photo of the sunflower that she looked after and said,

“From a small seed……..

Shame I didn’t get Mollie in photo too!”

That is indeed a huge sunflower to have grown from a small seed Mollie. Well done for looking after it so well and thank you for sending us a photo.
