Proud Parent

Dylan’s family has left a comment about our recent graduation:

“We had a lovely morning at the Graduation ceremony, brought a wee tear to my eye watching all the children sing and was so proud to see how confident Dylan was as he walked up onto the stage to receive his certificate. He has had a wonderful year at nursery and we would like to thank all the staff for all your hard work, helping him to grow and develop into the confident little boy that he has become, helping him get ready for P1, you all do such a fantastic job. Dylan will miss you all, and we will bring him back to visit 😀 xxxxxxx”

Thank you so much for your kind comment. We all felt very proud of the children too and hope that we will still see lots of them at school events and in the town.

Kind Gift

car

Thank you so much for this kind gift on leaving Nursery. We are sure that next year’s boys and girls will love playing in it particularly as we have recently had to throw out some of our older cars.
We hope that everyone will be able to get out in the sunshine on their cars, bikes and scooters in the summer holidays.

Afternoon Graduation

Just as in the morning, the afternoon children showed themselves to be confident individuals at their graduation ceremony on Monday and we loved the happy smiles on everybody’s face. Thank you also to all the family and friends who formed a super audience – we really appreciate your support. We hope that you enjoy this little snapshot of our day.

Graduation Smiles

We were all so proud of the children at our graduation ceremony earlier this week as they sang and danced to celebrate their year in Nursery. They showed great confidence to perform to their families and then to walk on stage on their own to shake hands and receive their certificates.
Thank you to Mrs. Alexander and Mr. Palmer for taking time to present the children with their awards and for being so patient to pose with each child so that a precious family photo could be taken. Thank you also to all the family and friends who attended our little ceremony and for your support throughout the year.
Here is a gallery of the morning children.I will put photos of the afternoon children on as soon as possible.

Dylan’s Lunch

Dylan enjoyed his school lunch last week too. His Mum left us a comment:

“Dylan really enjoyed his lunch at school last week and says he can’t wait to have his lunch there every day and try some different lunches 😀 xxx”

It’s great to hear that the children enjoyed their school lunches and reassuring that they are looking forward to having lunch in school once they start.

Lunch With Friends

Mollie’s Mum has been looking at the photos of the children having a school lunch last week:

“Mollie loved her school lunch, she is really looking forward to P1 and having lunch in the dining room with her friends. Thank you to all the dinner ladies for being so helpful and kind.”

We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed your lunch Mollie and it won’t be long until you can have lunch with your friends every day.

School Lunch

Last week some Hecklegirth parents joined their children to sample a school lunch in preparation for the move to Primary 1 in August. Hot dogs and chips or delicious sandwiches were on offer and I spotted some tasty looking ice-cream and yoghurts for dessert which seemed to go down well with most children. Hopefully everyone is now looking forward to their school lunches when they come to Primary 1 in August.

Graduation Invitations

Mrs. Alexander and Mr. Palmer were both delighted to receive graduation invitations made by Nursery children last week and we are looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow (Monday) in the school hall to celebrate the end of our year. Please bring the children to Nursery at normal times and we will take them to the hall once everyone is in their seats. Please remember to bring your good singing voices boys and girls!
